The government wrote the check using the military for 20+ years of war in the middle east. And now people actually can find out about VA benefits through the internet the amount of claims I bet have also increased. I bet you 99.9999% of all veterans that are P&T would gladly give that up to be healthy again. The only answer to stop paying for disabled veterans is to stop creating disabled veterans.

What happens if you lose your nursing job and can’t get another job. Just keep it for a back up imo. It just a few things of paperwork every 2 years

The meaning of life isn’t the destination it’s the road you take. Just do what makes you happy and feels fulfilled. A job that doesn’t suck and allows you to do your hobbies for most. Nature for some. Being penniless and a nomad for others. I work in a job where I see a lot of people at the end of their life (which btw side tangent never ask some who’s dies what’s their biggest regret, it turns their final moments into them being regretful for their life instead of looking back at happy memories) and almost everyone says they are most proud of the family and friends they made long the way.
Just my perspective, sorry to hear you’ve been going through it tho. Happy to chat if you want to

I have a theory that republicans are trying to loose the next election because they anticipate an economical crash and can believe they can get a super majority by blaming the democrats.

Fire city - it’s fire, some people’s dream some people’s hell. No iv Tylenol tho and i question them. Politics is pretty heavy with them. But has auto loaders
Sac metro - it’s fire, some people’s dream some people’s hell. Almost the medics are goof balls and it’s pretty chill but they fire people on probation for the smallest thing. Auto loaders
Bi-County - ran to the absolute ground but great if you want to learn. No auto loaders
AMR - from what I understand the pay is good and the company division isn’t terrible. Half of the rigs have auto loaders.
Medic ambulance - runs IFT in Sacramento but you will be put into Solano for their 911 system. Also holds the sac bls downgrade contract for fire. Company culture is toxic from what I hear. Auto loaders on most the vehicles
Alpha One - runs a pretty big IFT company and also 911 for nursing homes, urgent care, etc. Best way to describe it is a system parallel to 911. Fire hands out their business cards to get people to call them instead of 911. If you want scene call experience this is your easiest route. Auto loaders
Bay medic - it’s an IFT company, isn’t the worst from what I hear. No auto loaders
NorCal - works great if you want to do school also, But also a standard IFT company. Has the UC Davis discharge contract so you can read about really interesting cases in the discharge packet if you want to. No auto loaders
ProTransport - a pretty standard IFT company, CCT division is nice and the staff is pretty friendly. No auto loaders
Eagle ambulance - super small IFT company and has small IFT company problems. No auto loaders
Trauma life - I actually have never scene these guys, like ever.

How long until you are able or how long until they will catch you, because those are different questions. If they submitted your paperwork to the feds never with a felony on your record. It really depends on your charges and what was put into the NICS system that only a lawyer can tell you. You can submit a firearm eligibility form with the ATF and they’ll tell you.

What do you think of phage therapy in terms of cancer treatment?

A lot of counties allow downgrade after administration for things like Tylenol and zofran

The base itself if nice, just focus on that

EMT B should be shit canned and EMT advance should be the standard.
BLS IFT is just insurance fraud and is only around because hospitals need a method to free up beds.
Nursing homes are torture for everyone involved.
Code 3 driving sucks
Trauma is overemphasized
Risk adverse medicine is what is holding back EMS from getting better in the US.
We should be a degree based field

I don’t trust my patients nor have shoulder straps. They always be trying to fall out. I don’t understand why people don’t like shoulder straps. Unless it’s road and code time I always put them on

A very pessimistic view.
Usually a mix of operational needs meeting with a 10 minutes “break” between the next meeting with A1C snuffy who thought it would be a good idea to drive while intoxicated for a 4th time. Then another meeting to discuss with a Staff sergeant who thought he deserved the promotion statement. Then 20 minutes to catch up on emails before a TS meeting that honestly could’ve been an email. Then lunch with other chiefs to discuss how the enlisted force is doing compared to other units. All before a wing brief where the CC has to pass down some info from his supervisor about readiness and training or something like that. After getting back to his office to catch up on emails they get hit with a “immediate” tasked from CC about how SrA YourMom saved the Air Force and should be coined and SrA Deez got a line number for staff. This is their favorite part of the job btw. Then what you thought was an hour to do work turned out to actually be a open block for a staff meeting with the squadron to see how far out of date the training is and developed a get well plan. And then you end the day with a ops briefing to discuss maintained performance metrics and the necessity to bring in a crew over the weekend to ensure there’s enough jets to maintain flight hours. Then you take your computer home and catch up on emails while your thicc formally A1C Latina now SrA wife makes dinner.

If you want it to there “permanently” - command strips.
If you want it to be there most the time - Velcro
If you want it to be there some of the time, silicon strips with fishing weights to help weight it down
Find a nice tray design on printables.com or send me a drawing of what you want with dimensions and I can give you a STL file if it’s not too complicated. Most libraries have 3d printers you can use for cheap if not free.

If you have a pressure gauge inside a shampoo bottle, if you squeeze it the needle will move, but might not pop out the top. The pressure when it pops out the top is the value we want.
Have you tried just not eating?
