Have not yet peeked at the comment, but it sounds like you're from and English speaking country, America most likely.

Your -W and -T sounds still have an English sound to them. Also your cadence is very close to what we would assume an American would sound like.
Also your -R at the end or words is rolling a bit too much, very common for native English speakers.

BTW, Excellent job on everything, you can hear you're from a different country, but if the rest of you vocab is up to par, you could have any conversation you want with any Dutch person I'm pretty sure.

Visible differences like skin color and hair are real—but that doesn’t mean humans fall into a few clear, seperate biological groups called races.

“Social construct” means society decides which traits matter, how people get grouped by them, and what those groups are supposed to mean. Those categories can change between countries and over time. Ancestry is real too, but it’s more complicated than a few racial boxes.

So basically: the differences are real, but the way we sort people into “races” is something society created—and those categories still have real effects on people’s lives.

Nah, punish the mosquitos for not being vegan. DUH

You act like every tomato is the same, some batches will be more acidic, some will be more sweet.

Adjust seasonings accordingly, this is with any fruit/vegetable you will use.

If you're in doubt still, you clearly don't

This guy knows.

Oh, absolutely, let's just collectively postpone adulthood to 30 so everyone can "find themselves" while rent, biology, and the economy politely wait their turn. What a luxury to imagine that "enjoying your 20s" is a universal option and not a privilege reserved for people whose bills magically pay themselves. "We only get one chance to be young". TRUE, and some people spend that one chance working double shifts so they get a chance to be old, too.

Oh wow, what a groundbreaking revelation—turns out having rich parents who hand you £7,000 cars and let you live rent-free makes life easier. Who could have possibly guessed that "don't worry about money" is easier when money isn't a worry? Truly, this is the brave, contrarian insight we all needed from someone who apparently just discovered that poverty is, in fact, harder than not-poverty.

If you know, you know.

Just wondering, since you seem to be writing in English no problem, have you ever considered just playing it in the language it was written? Or do you have more trouble following along when everything is in English?

Positive_Alligator

Ik ga graag alleen naar sportwedstrijden. Als dat gek is, dan ben ik een koekwaus.

Positive_Alligator

In that case, i would not worry! I'm pretty sure border control will deal with this daily.

Positive_Alligator

You are clearly missing the point. And that's ok.

Americans feel no need to distinguish something that clearly needs distinction in some cases.

-Where you from?

-America

-North or South?

-TEXAS

In this conversation the American should be aware that answering America could lead to confusion, saying the US will not.
In some conversations distinction is not necessary, in some cases it is.

Americans to a lot of the world seem to think the world revolves around them, therefor a lot of different nationalities like to poke fun at the US. You seem to have reacted in such a way that brings truth to the image of the US i speak of.

Have a great day.

You talk as if taste was something you're born with. You make it sound like you're in such an underprivileged position because you have expensive taste.

Get over yourself. You are the only one making the purchases.

I'm pretty sure every kid who has a passport since birth will have this problem. So i would normally not worry too much about it.

However, usually passports for minors will expire after 5 years (in most countries i know of). So the math of a picture of a 1 year old on a 7 year old passport does feel weird to me.

Like every time, I'll know when the character creation screen is there. What I'm feeling at that moment is what I'll play.

"With the release of WoW:F, it seems like we are going to have a large influx of bots, which means even larger power in their hands where they can mass-report anyone"

Why is it even larger this time around?

Positive_Alligator

Short answer: yes, in principle — but "bigger" alone isn't the key variable. You need the right charge-separation mechanism, and sandstorms have a real but limited version of it.

Lightning requires three things:

Charge separation — positive and negative charges must accumulate in different regions.

A sufficiently large electric field — roughly 3 million volts per meter to break down air.

A discharge path — the field has to exceed breakdown somewhere before charges leak away.

In thunderstorms, the engine is collisions between ice crystals and graupel (soft hail) in strong updrafts. That's a very efficient charge-transfer process. Sand grains colliding don't transfer charge nearly as well, which is why sandstorms produce static shocks and corona but rarely full lightning.

It looks like we're taking a giant anecdote pile and throwing it around as truth.

first, the Youtube videos you talk about are a good starting point. BUT people upload their best runs, not their median runs, 60-80k cathedral clips will usually have well-geared and practiced groups that know what they are doing. The average spellcleave pug is likely to be significantly lower than 60-80k.
Same goes for questing, 50-60k restedXP numbers assumes a lot. An optimized route (RXP helps obv), contested or non contested mobs on layers. And a person who already knows the route. I would assume that first timers and contested layers will be the biggest change in this number. And BTW, what percentage of actual players will use RXP in forever.

If you want to be accurate you have to compare apples-to-apples on /played, not just XP/hour.

let's say dungeon XP is about 20-30% faster per hour, but requires zero travel, zero quest turn-ins and no dead zones (bad quest clusters, level gaps). the cumulative advantage over 1-60 can compound into something much bigger than the XP/hour sample you take as hard truth. Perhaps this is part that the 'internal data' actually captures. Raw XP/hour clips do nothing in this context.

Then another thing, 50-60k and 60-80k are wide enough to overlap or diverge depending on whic end you pick. If you're going to end this argument you will need the following. Level bracket, group comp, gear level, route, /played per level and an actual sample size. Currently your data can hardly be interpreted as data, it literally is just a bunch of anecdotes.

To be completely fair, you may have a point, and the lack of actual data we get from Blizzard on this is the main problem, not people trying to 'solve' it. But with the data points that are currently available i don't think we have enough to come to conclusions.
We just don't know what data Blizzard uses to come to their conclusions, since they don't show the players anything.

Also kind of strange you take 2 deadmines quests into account, a quick google search told me there's 7 available quests for deadmines (1 paladin exclusive). So perhaps you only picked 2 quests to make your math work, but it feels disingenuous.
