I put new headlights in an old E36 and it made no difference. I thought the lense had become a bit opaque and after trying a few abrasive cleaning kits I decided to get brand new light units. I was well disappointed. It made no difference. Bought some overpriced Philips bulbs, still not much difference.

Few years ago I started buying LEDs for my current car and the difference was unbelievable. The headlights aren't crazy bright. Nowhere near your standard newr cars blinding lights but an improvement. But the high beams turn night into day. Just make sure you dip them. I hate folk that don't dip their lights till they're pointing right in your windscreen

Sounds possible. Older LCD screens on calculators an digi watches used to bleed liquid if they took a knock. I don't think many phones had oled back then anyway

Practical-Command634

And when it stopped working you just whacked it on the top and it started working again

Practical-Command634

If I didn't have to suffer it personally that would be a great idea.

Empty the fragrance out and fill it with water.

Practical-Command634

Agreed, a headphone jack and SD card slot would be nice aswell.

I got a warning for the first time in years about using a mag safe case the other day telling me not to use it as it would interfere with my spen. Don't use the pen very often but never noticed any actual issues because of the magnet. I'm glad I need to use a case for mag safe. Id probably have gone case less ages ago and my phone would be trashed by all the drops I've inflicted on it.

Unless it's causing serious issues I'd just download a different launcher and customise the phone to my liking.

Add to that they live in India and it's hot and humid. Other dude mentioned different cases. That'll be a massive factor in hot climates. Cheap cases don't care about temp management. There's a reason a good case costs £40 or£50 or more.

Just tell them you're on vacation and are just getting a few snaps for the family album . It's like telling them these aren't the droids you are looking for. When they hear the accent you'll get a pass. Just don't spend the whole game taking photos or you'll draw attention to yourself.

Practical-Command634

I've not noticed anything new. Only difference is my font size widget isn't working anymore. Bit of a let down. Hopefully it'll have improved the battery life or something but it doesn't feel like it so far

Practical-Command634

Same here.

Practical-Command634

Looks good but i wouldn't be wearing that to a funeral lol.

If he can open up an iPhone and swap out the battery in that he'd be able to swap a crafty battery with his eyes shut.

Practical-Command634

Can you not access it through a mirror apk site?

Practical-Command634

Good lock is amazing for a free app. So much customisation. That in conjunction with nova launcher lets you change almost everything perimeter wise and make your phone do loads of stuff that for some reason isn't just a app suit installed in the settings menu. Would make a lot of sense. I'm going on the assumption that Samsung own it but I could be wrong

Practical-Command634

I thought that might be the case. Is this not something some clever dude will find a workaround for? It was why I started using android back in the day when custom roms actually added loads of features and other benefits and jail breaking an iPhone just let u install apps and features that were standard on most androids. I've not used one since probably my S8. The inconvenience of losing access to most banking apps was the main reason I stopped doing it. Wouldn't have a clue where to start these days. And there's always the chance Samsung give it another year or 2. They've done it before. The main reason I don't want to change is apart from the Chinese phones there's nothing that I think is worth it

Practical-Command634

I've always thought Samsung might extend the update for s23u. As long as there's still loads about it wouldn't take much to make future OS. I know there the whole planned obselecion is a thing but I'm sure they've done it before. Fingers crossed. Are custom roms not still an option, is it still possible to install a custom os without tripping the Knox fuse

News papers. It was the international sign to inform the room you're going number 2. Folded up tabloid tucked under you armpit.

Just noticed you're having trouble sourcing batteries for it. I got the wrong battery's. They weren't as high capacity as the original ones but it still worked fine. You'll get batteries on Amazon.

It's surprisingly easy to open it and change the batteries. I didn't have a soldering iron so I took it to the local phone repair shop to ask the guy to change the battery. It took him less than 5 min and it didn't need soldered because the wires were just held on with sticky pads that easily stuck back on securely. Check YouTube, there'll definitely be a tutorial. Or if you're not confident doing it yourself take it to your local phone shop. Get batteries online and take it in. The guy that fixed mine would take any cash off me cause I supplied the batteries and it took him less than 5 min. I was impressed because he'd never seen a mighty before and swapped the batteries without looking anything. It was almost as easy as changing batteries on one of those old remote control cars that had the screws securing the battery compartment. Just take your time. I'm sure you'll be able to DIY. Good luck

Practical-Command634

I'd recommend an electric chair

Practical-Command634

For some reason I remembered it as being Compton but I used to listen to a lot of NWA so Compton was where I imagined it lol

My mate opened a garage years ago. He learned everything he knew from ed china off that TV show where they fix up old cars. He's pretty good at what he does but I use a more experienced mechanic that knows cars inside out. He's like you. He's self taught but he's just really good at most things and he loves cars. You sound like the kind of mechanic that won't be short of work just though word of mouth and reputation

Practical-Command634

Every days a school day. Thanks for the info
