yeah, it took me until age 40 to learn that when people show you who they are, you should believe what you see rather than what they say. My ex-husband would say really terrible things about me that totally erode my self-esteem. it’s important to set those boundaries and people who respect, love, and cherish you, will respect your boundaries. People who don’t need to be kicked out. believe him when he shows you who he is. Don’t wait 15 years just to accept it later.

so nice to meet you! I just went to a ecstatic dance NYC yesterday and was inquiring about flow jams and I guess there is a group that meets in the city . I wanna see if there’s anybody meeting in this area. Honestly, I think the Pete Toshi Seger Park in Beacon would be an awesome flow jam location because it has such a nice lawn by the river.

I agree I placed my order in September 2025. It processed and then it seemed to have dropped. I see no clear refund or purchase in my history talking to customer service about this has been a nightmare. i’ve given up getting one of his products.

it is very easy. try practicing with it on a different painting first. I also wonder if maybe a warmer pinky coral would be than an orange… it would be fun to test how different glazed color transparency layers affect perception

I placed my order of September 2025. I reached out to them in March 2026 and I’ve been tangoing back-and-forth through email since then. I’ve got no response when I’ve asked for an expected date for shipment. Is this company a complete fraud?

honestly, this is a beautiful cake. Lovely composition – the textures of the cake really steal the show.

I think what is happening is the cool tones in your gray frosting feel blue because of the cool background. I think it’s more of an optical illusion due to proximity and contrast.

if you were to try glazing a very light translucent orange layer over the white icing, I think it would tone it to a warmer hue and produce more contrast… as well as make those cherries feel a little more cohesive (since they are already so warm) . overall this is really well done and I hope you are not telling yourself anything else other than that.

assuming this is an acrylic painting - If you consider using acrylic glazing medium, mixed with a little bit of a bright cadmium orange (maybe with a pinch of magenta) - and painted on as an extremely thin layer — i’d like to see her call your frosting blue then.

NOR. If anything, I think you are underreacting. Somebody like this is trying to test your boundaries to see how much they can hurt you while still trusting that you’ll continue to sacrifice your own needs for theirs. A partner like this will continue to break you down, overtime, until you are only subservient to their needs. This is a dangerous person. I wish I had somebody tell me this in my younger years-15 years ago -with my ex-husband. These are really large red flags, OP let people show you who they are. Don’t ignore this kind of behavior because it is dangerous and it will destroy you. This is not how someone who should love you should behave. You deserve more and I hope you see that. I hope it doesn’t take you as long as it took me.

I just did this for my ceramic classroom! I just brought my box cutter with me and I cut it to the dimensions i needed it in in the parking lot. Incredibly easy to cut, but also the employees will do it for you if they are not busy I just didn’t feel like waiting if you wanna cut and score yourself it’ll break very clearly on the cut line.

describes my experience pretty closely as well. except even when I tried to share every day things like teaching methods and other common interests, it’s taken personally. My GenZ coworker even said very hurtful/very skewed things about me to our admin. It really hurt my feelings because I tried hard last year to make her feel comfortable and even invited her out because she’s new to town. But I guess I’m just an old millennial.

i’ve noticed an extreme amount of emotional immaturity. Zero accountability.. enormous ego, and lack of humility.

I saw others comment on here, but I’m gonna say it again because as a ceramicist working hands is a lifesaver. That lotion will really help slather it on and put a pair of cotton gloves on before you go to bed and your hands will be exponentially better in the morning

I concur. I feel exactly the same. I think it shows a great level of metacognition and empathy.
