Yup. Insulin dependant type 2 diabetic.  I've been on  Liraglutide (genertic Victoza) since June and it's daily injection. No problem.

In had this happen too! Started in June 2026. Losing about 4 pounds a month (also taking insulin as a type 2, so slow and steady is acceptable to me). Researched the protein level suggestions, etc. At my lab work check up, My EFGR was severely low from all the protein I was eating. After reducing my protein to the level my doctor suggested, it’s now back in the normal range again. Had all the blood work and follow up bloodwork,kidney ultra sound, etc.

She perscribed the GLP1, but never mention that too much protein could be a problem. It was caught on some regular lab work. I’m grateful for having caught it. I’m now off insuline, and off a couple of other meds. A1c is the lowest it’s ever been, and I feel so much better. I will be on my GLP1 probably for life, with the approval and regular monitoring of my doctor. Not everyone will have these issues. I was just one of the unfortunate ones.

My only check each month is Rent. They don’t have any other option.

We had them. I just can’t get past the taste of yams, even with the marshmellows.

We had fruit cocktail salad with miniture marshmellows and whipped cream. Usually at thanksgiving and Christmas, but occasionally “just because”.

I mostly do pick up at the store. Don't like going in, and delivery is hit or miss on them actually finding the right house.

Love this! Was wondering if he’d show up here. Watched him every week day. As an adult, I voluneered at the local PBS station and got to go to several of his public appearances. He usually had either Gertrude or Ketchikan The Animal man with him. Both very nice guys.

I have kaiser and it covers. I had a a BMI of 34 and am type 2 diabetic. My copay is $25 a month.

The lack of cravings was a BIG surprise for me. I normally have a big sweet tooth, but about three days in I realized I didn’t even want anything sweet. When I did try a chocolate protein bar I usually like, I could only eat a couple of bites because it tasted too sweet. I’ve been on Liarglutide (Victoza) at 1.2 since June. Blood sugars are the best they’ve ever been (type 2 diabetic) and down 32 pounds. Still no food noise or cravings. No longer have side effects either.

Dr. Didn't tell me either,  but as an insulin dependant diabetic, I knew.   I order from Amazon.  Faster and cheaper.  The Lira has replaced my insulin, along with the weight loss, so I'm happy.

One of my friends in high school went for a job interview she saw in the paper and never came back. She was murdered. They found her body and arrested who did it, but he killed himself before he could go to trial.
