I wouldn't say that. I am sure there is a number of people that bought it, totaled their car and were not able to transfer it to a new car. I would be so mad if that was me with my 22 YLR when I totaled it in Feb 2025. There is just no reason to pay full price when the sub gives you the same thing.

I looked at other EVs last Feb when I got my 25 MYP since I totaled my 22 MYLR. I wanted to give another company a try but outside of spending way more then what the Y costs, there was little options that compared to Tesla level. I would have loved to buy a R1T but they cost way too much for me. Tesla is just to far ahead when it comes to the tech in the car. I know others will say something different but no one other than maybe Rivian compares software wise.

Subscription is $100 right now. I know it was higher awhile back but it is $100 now. So that works out to $1200 a year. So it would take roughly 6.5 years to get to the 8k cost that it is right now. I know a lot of people do not keep their cars that long. I know some do but not everyone. I like the idea of being able to sub when I want to and cancelling it when I do not want it.
Also what happens if you total your car. I totaled my first Y after having it for 2 years. There was no FSD transfer at the time so I would not of been able to transfer FSD when I got my current Y. So I would of only paid $2400 after that 2 years vs the 8k cost there is now. I know people say that FSD increases the value of the car as well but I feel like it doesn't really do that much. Maybe some but not 8k.

I had a 22 MYLR that I totaled last Feb, I bought a 25 MYP. Other then the extra speed ( which you will only use at stop lights and to get on the highway faster) I would say it is not worth the extra cost. The 21in wheels over the 19in wheels are not worth it. Yes you can buy new wheels that are smaller which I did. I am using 18in wheels on my Performance. You are still spending more over all for not much value in the car.
I would say just get a LR. They are fast enough and cheaper to maintain. This is mainly if you are looking at a Model Y. I can not comment on the 3, S, or the X, but I have to guess it is not much better with those as well.

26k for a 50k mile MYP seems good. I got 30k for my 22 MYLR with 48k miles in Feb 2025 when it was totaled. I would be more worried that you are out of warranty for everything but the battery and the drive units. If the FSD computer or say the Heating/Cooling breaks, that is going to be pretty costly to repair. Maybe check and see if you can get the extended warranty on it still from Tesla.

100% agree, i totaled my 22 LRY in February and we got a inv 25 YP as a replacement. Only reason my wife and I did not get a new Y was because of the look. If it looked like the 3 I would have bought a launch edition.

Yea I couldn't think of a name. I am on my 2nd Model Y because I totaled my first one which was blue as well. That one was named Grand Admiral Thrawn. I didn't want to use the same name again so I let the kids pick.

Oh, I like the light bar in the front. I hate the rear end. When I Totaled model Y back in February, I had the option to be able to order a new one. However, the wife did not like the look at all, which is what forced me to get a 25 model Y in the old look.

Sure this isn't an AI photo? If that M3 was hit by a train, I am sure the damage would look way worst then that.

Do you have a house or do you live in an apartment? If you live in an apartment, I might think about it. I have a Model Y Performance which is my 2nd Tesla and I love my car. I do live in a house with my own L2 charger so it is very easy for me. My last Tesla I totaled and it had 48k miles on it. Only needed to see Tesla Service 1 time and it was for a headrest. I would totally recommend it to anyone.

Can't say for sure with yours but my 22 MYLR was totaled in Feb for damage like this. The frame was bent between those 2 doors. My insurance Progressive did not want to pay the 19k to fix it. They valued it at 30k and totaled it. I did not have as much damage as yours by the back wheel but both doors had to be replaced.

I had a 22 Y that I used FSD sometimes on. That car was totaled last month and I got a 25 MYP. HW4 vs HW3 is pretty big. HW4 is a lot better. HW4 still needs some work but man it is way better being in a HW4 car. I use FSD a lot more.

I said the same thing in another post about this.
"Stop thinking about what others think and get the car if you really want it. People that treat you different because of the things you buy are very sad people and need to think about themselves and stop worrying about what cars you buy."
I just bought a new MYP that will be here on Thursday. I could careless what someone else thinks of me. I am buying the car because I love Tesla not because I support or do not support Elon.

Sadly this is within spec. https://www.tesla.com/support/vehicle-warranty
States "minimum 70% retention of Battery capacity over the warranty period."
You may have just got unlucky and lost most of it all at once. You will have to wait and see if it levels off or keeps dropping, but you have 20% more to go before Tesla will care.

They had the window down and use the windshield washer fluid. Normal and within spec.
Go++ is well worth the cost. Just to be able to use all 3 ball types makes it so much better. Also being able to mod it so it auto catches with all 3 types is great as well. My son has a duomon and while it can only do red balls it is nice for the cost
