I volunteer at Franklin and unfortunately we only take cats from the area. We are also way over capacity, it's a real issue.
Prometheana
They don't dress code you in college!
I know those nips are making LWJ absolutely feral tho
Prometheana
That seems high, I'd definitely price shop a bit as others are saying! It's been a few years since I had a full dental done on one of my cats but it was definitely under $1k.

Our Sprite is named after them!

Thank you, I will call!
Prometheana
It's a boiler, I just don't know anything about plumbing 😭 the consensus is definitely to have someone come look at it so I will be calling the plumber tomorrow!
Prometheana
thank you, i appreciate it!!
Prometheana
okay, so this is a time to call in a professional? i empty the plastic container out every day or so and there is always at least an inch of water in it.
Prometheana
As stated on the original post, water started coming from the furnace in the last month or so. Do I need to call an HVAC technician or is this something I should be able to fix myself?
We have lived here for four years and this is the first time water has come out of the furnace. The previous owner put the plastic containers there but said it was just a precaution as there had been no leakage to that point.

I used to be a house cleaner for a woman running an animal rescue out of her house. She had 64 cats divided between her basement and her sunroof. The sunroom cats were mostly kittens and they did come and go. The basement cats did not. She also never went down to the basement. I found dying cats on more than one occasion and had to bring them to her attention. They all had URIs. I called animal control but they were just a couple of cops and they didn't do anything, just made racist remarks to me for having a BLM sticker on my car at the time. I ended up quitting the job because it was just too horrible.
(I did adopt one of the basement cats, though. The lady did a vet check and home check on me, and told me she almost denied me because she didn't like the vet I was using. I also paid an adoption fee. For this cat who had been in the basement for 9 years and had soooo many medical problems. It was worth it because she was a wonderful cat, but I was so angry at having to jump through hoops to take one of these poor sick babies that were completely neglected.)
Tl;Dr I do NOT inherently trust animal people/rescuers any more.

She IS evil so I'm wondering if your cat maybe did a parthenogenesis?
Prometheana
We got her a spay onesie but she can take it off, somehow??? She's genuinely so evil lmao 😭
Prometheana
Absolutely, sent!
Prometheana
Sent you the festive hue brew!
Prometheana
Sent! You asked for one of the two things left haha

I'm 99% sure these are harlequin/Asian lady beetle (to be 100% sure I'd need a better picture of the "face"), invasive species that comes in a lot of colors. They do mass homes and they can bite and produce a gross smell when smushed. Feel free to let them be exterminator'd.
