Cuckoo pendulum Thinking of making my own pendulum for regula 8 day clock. Being a novice/rookie, how much should it weigh when finished? This is a pet project for my parents. I've found nothing online to answer my question. Thanks for the help! (self.clocks)

It is from Amazon. I just built a cuckoo clock from scratch and found nothing useful there. You can try Timesavers. I found they had the best prices. Also look at Clockworks. Hope it helps

Pure-Dimension-316

Got it at timesavers. It's a regula 34 8 day movement.

Pure-Dimension-316

It was a new movement

Pure-Dimension-316

Thanks, I figured it out. Had the wrong weight

Pure-Dimension-316

Thank you, very helpful

Thanks

Thanks

The movement I want says it has 11 1/4" drop with other sizes available. Is this what you're referring to? Here's a link to it

Thanks to all for your advice

Ok, dumb question, why?

Pure-Dimension-316

The beekeepers handbook 5th edition is an excellent reference/beginners book.
