Both dan sullivans names arent even spelled the same and the incumbents name has his party affiliation and the fact that he's the incumbent listed by his name on the ballot.

Okay so if were delving into different polling companies which I don't know how they collect their info so I cant speak for them then yes some are flat out wrong depending on their sample size and how/where they collect their info and whether their sample is random or not or affected by other biases.

That doesnt mean every poll is garbage and wrong. The two you listed arent even reputable polling companies that serious people refer to.

Historically the party in power always loses seats in the midterms and where republicans have such a slim majority its a pretty safe prediction that theyll probably lose the house.

I think theyll hold the senate even though its still seen as up for grabs.

I think people tend to forget that polls have a margin of error and even in most of these polls that the number wasnt spot on to what the poll predicted or their opponent who was predicted to lose somehow squeaked a win the results still fall within the margin of error.

Polls arent infallible but I think its a little disingenuous to just say they're bad and wrong when the results still do fall within the margin of error even when theyre not 100% spot on.

If republicans win it would just be business as usual for everything else they've done for the last 2 years thus far good and bad. I dont think wed see many resolutions to any of the major issues were facing as republicans seem content to just sit back and let trump do what he wants.
