Chicken taco bowl. Can use a rotisserie chicken, cook your own or slow cook some chicken breasts with a jar of salsa. Eat with rice or cauliflower rice, pico, lettuce, cheese or whatever else you want.
Ground beef with carrots and green beans, served over mashed potatoes.

It feels overwhelming because it is, but you’ll figure it out day by day and eventually figure out what lifestyle works for you. Might take months or years to figure that out.
If I could go back in time I would start small with changes, don’t try to do 100 things. If you try to change too much you may not be able to tell which thing is actually helping.
I did diet first, basically ate chicken and sweet potatoes for a few months to help with gut healing. Switched out coffee for herbal tea.
I am not on any thyroid meds but have worked with my naturopath and am on Inositol, Ashwagandha, plant sterols and low dose naltrexone. I also am on hormone replacement therapy with progesterone as of recently as my hormones and cycles have been wacky for the first time ever.
I love to exercise and need to be careful with pushing myself too hard. One day of too much exertion can put me on the couch for a day or two. There’s a balance to find with it. Not everyone is the same.
Stress is my worst enemy so I really need to limit how much I try to pack into my days and know when I need to rest. I have a stressful job and just took 3 months off to see if the stress reduction will help.
There’s a Facebook group I find helpful - Hashimoto’s 411. They’re very helpful for answering specific questions.
I’ve learned a lot in the 1.5 years since diagnosis but I certainly don’t have it all figured out. One day at a time!

Anyone have Hashimoto’s as well? So many overlapping symptoms and I’m trying to figure out if I have the added bonus of peri that might be hiding as Hashi’s.

I do this and it works for me 100% of the time. “The curling iron is unplugged” “the oven is off”. If I don’t say it out loud I end up worrying about it every single time.

Magnesium citrate or biglycinate (both help me), L Glutamine and more fibre. I add Natura Fibre to my smoothies daily and it has helped.
Beef pot roast with vegetables, chicken breast with Italian seasoning and mix it with mayo (or Greek yogurt) and celery after shredding for chicken salad, chicken and a jar of salsa (add beans or corn if you want),
