Did I hear a rock and stone?

I'm a relatively new player to CK3 and I assumed it would work that way. I was surprised when I became an emperor I was still only allowed 2.

Americans love to go on about wealth while ignoring their massive wealth inequality. The median wealth in the UK is actually significantly higher than the US https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_wealth_per_adult#Median_and_mean_wealth_(UBS)._2025_data._Top_30_countries_only

"We're so rich". No, a handful of you are rich. The rest of you are working for a barely liveable minimum wage and then vote for the ultra rich to run your country so they can rob you even more.

The tires that came with my CBR650R from the factory didn't last that long too

I just had to replace mine after barely over 4k miles, hopefully the Michelin road 5's put on will last a bit longer.

QTom01

When are you taking them to Maxthorpe and Milothorpe?

Despite loving Warband, Bannerlord took so long to come out I kinda lost interest and never really played it properly, until last week when I finally decided to give it a proper shot.

I spent a couple of days incredibly addicted but as soon as I was an established lord and I got to the part of the game where you just fight, ransom prisoners, buy supplies, repeat I quickly lost interest.

The biggest disappointment to me is the diplomacy / interactions with lords. You'd think with the diplomacy mod being so popular for Warband they would have focused on this area, but I think it may actually be worse than Warband. There's literally almost no reason to talk to any lord, ever. Same few dialogue options which basically do nothing.

It really reminds me of Dragons Dogma 2. They had a great but flawed game, perfect for a sequel that expands and improves it, and instead they just built basically the same game again full of most of the same issues and flaws without much meaningful improvement. It's not bad and I will probably play more eventually, but it is disappointing.

We already got the president, we're chilling now.

As a non American I've always wanted to try candy corn because how is it possible for such a simple thing to be so divisive? What the hell does it taste like?

QTom01

Lol, my first thought when I saw this was "I assume this took 12 years and 8 billion pounds"

QTom01

I not only watched, but paid money to see "Meet the Spartans" in the cinema. It haunts me to this day. In my defence I was 12.

For me it's simply the most rewarding and enjoyable open world (open solar system?) exploration / puzzle game I've ever played. The "eureka" moments feel great and earned, and I was genuinely interested in the story you're figuring out. Then it ties it all together with an emotional punch at the end that stays with you. 10/10 absolute masterpiece.

Also I had my doubts about the DLC but they really pulled it off again.

I like this streamer, even if he is 450kg

QTom01

Yep, similar in other developed countries. Either huge economic issues are going to arise or maybe enough people will wake up that we can actually tax the rich. It's not just about morality or what's fair, the system literally cannot function properly when a few people control all the wealth. Something will have to give.

QTom01

Yeah the first line of the article made me laugh

The quartz crisis (Switzerland) or quartz revolution (United States, Japan, and other countries)

They got paid a liveable wage. What has happened over the past few decades is a steady squeezing of normal people to shift more money to the ultra wealthy. It's actually amazing how almost every problem in developed countries today is caused by wealth inequality.

I work for a company that literally does communications software, like VOIP calls are a major part of our business. Almost every time we have a company wide call the higher ups are using some dogshit mic with horrible quality and lots of background noise.

QTom01

I've either got a weak ass or my CBR650R is just super uncomfortable but riding for like 3 hours starts to get very uncomfortable for me, wish I could enjoy a ride this long lol.

QTom01

This is the slop being fed constantly to people on IG reels and YT shorts etc. Well, this and right wing propaganda.

QTom01

And now, of course, he's an elected politician in Russia. They sure know how to choose them.

QTom01

Rich people are destroying the entire fucking world if you haven't noticed, and it's only going to get worse.

QTom01

irregular lot sizes and, as a consequence, procedurally generated buildings

If you haven't heard of it already, that's what this is promising: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2828020/Citystate_Metropolis/

QTom01

People care more about getting bombed than they did about getting covid.

QTom01

IIRC lightning strikes, while powerful, are so brief that the actual total power transferred is fairly small.

QTom01

One of the best games ever made and an absolute masterpiece of media. It's not for everyone but those who get it will never forget it.

QTom01

I enjoy the story but the background world/lore/setting is what I truly love about Bioshock. I really hope they one day do a good TV show or something in that setting.
