Pretty much all Internet traffic is encrypted nowadays. All you would be able to see is IP addresses but not what data is being sent

I think the question you have to consider is what would have happened to those towns/villages had the railways remained open? we have seen huge population growth and most of it is very much centred in areas with good rail transport links. many of these lines would be very useful today and would have allowed smaller towns and villages to be connected, to grow (perhaps not to everyone's liking) and a much more even population distribution overall. without these lines what we have ended up with is basically people working in cities in order to earn a living, overpopulated commuter towns on rail lines with unaffordable house prices and rent costs, and the only places where it is affordable to live there's no public transport to get to work. so now everyone's stuck either with unaffordable rent/mortgage or driving a long commute to work on clogged roads.

the problem is, most of the country IS already covered by buses. But outside of cities (i.e. where these train lines ran mostly) buses are simply too slow, they make many routes unviable, plenty of people would commute 1 hour to work by train, if you make that same journey 3 hours by bus people simply won't make that journey any more.

Even worse, where the journey time is reasonable, they're generally more expensive than driving the same route by car. if you can choose to drive a journey in the peace and quiet of your own car, door-to-door rather than having to use bus stops and a bus timetable, and all for less than the cost of taking the bus, you're just going to drive! which is what everyone does. so all the roads are clogged with cars, and now both the bus journeys and car journeys both take forever. Bus lanes? not a chance, the areas we're talking about are mostly single carriageway roads with houses and businesses all around, no room to expand the roads or add bus lanes.

well usually they give you a certain number of prints, it says "temporarily print in black and white only" something like that. then when the color is completely empty altogether and the head can get damaged that option goes away. that was my last inkjet printer anyway. I sold it I only have a laser printer now. Inkjets suck, basically. But there are reasons they work and don't work they way they do.

QuadrillionthBest

it's to stop the print head drying out. they use small amounts of color ink even when printing black and white to keep the head wet and stop the printer becoming useless. that's why your color ink runs down even if you only print black and white. inkjet printers are not the most durable design really. but they are cheap to make.

it's also to prevent the print head drying up. they're made of thousands of tiny nozzles that will clog if not kept constantly wetted with ink. so while printing anything (even black and white) small amounts of color ink is also constantly flushed through to stop the head drying up. if a color runs out then this can't happen. that's no excuse for not being able to scan, though.

You probably just need to clean the scroll wheel/scroll wheel light sensor. I had to take mine apart just once to clean the scroll wheel. the nice thing is you can actually clean it unlike some other mice with sealed wheels. you can also remove all the extra buttons if you want to for cleaning, they're held in with screws. Mine is 21 years old this year as well. 21 years of daily use.

oem technical data is showing anything from 0w8 to 10w30 is correct spec for this engine. in europe anyway

QuadrillionthBest

It wasn't very clear what you meant honestly. The original comment said that the ingredients could be hidden by showing e numbers, not by not showing them.

QuadrillionthBest

that's not true, most european countries and the UK the manufacturer can choose either the E-number or the full name. most choose the full name as it's less artificial sounding.

QuadrillionthBest

Yeah these comments are mad. i've worked in and out of various car businesses for years and seen many cars like this. They just get dried out and wiped down and cleaned and nobody even knows. my own car was like this (albeit not as bad but similar) after leaving it parked up for a few months and I dried it out and vacuumed up the mold and nothing has ever come back.

QuadrillionthBest

In humid countries this happens all the time when cars are left sitting. People just dry the car out and clean it off. as long as the car is dry it doesn't come back. in europe virtually every 2nd hand car has been like this at some point sitting on dealer lots, auctions, etc.

I think the main reason this worked is EFTA00754474.pdf contains plain text encoded with base64. odd errors will still give some readable text back. EFTA00400459.pdf in the linked article, on the other hand, contains base64-encoded compressed pdf, I think every character has to be correct in the original base64 in order to decode it to a pdf that can be decompressed and opened at all.

it's not just the time it's the convenience. to listen to voicemail you have to go somewhere you have good phone reception, ideally somewhere quiet too, then listen to someone talk at you for 30 seconds and hope to god that they're not going to give you anything important like directions, an appointment date and time or a phone number because then you'll have to listen to the whole thing all over again so you can write it down. that might be nice and easy for the person leaving the voicemail, but no way ever is that easier for the person who has to listen to it than just receiving the same info in a text

QuadrillionthBest

I turned mine off years ago also, had no issues. on rare chance doctor or dentist calls and I can't answer I see their number in missed calls and just call them back when I get a chance. they both do usually just send text messages nowadays anyway

also a nice benefit of this is you get such a long time with the phone ringing before it cuts off I hardly ever miss calls anyway

Also I should say I have read that some women like to pay for tinder (as if they ever need to do that!?) and then sort through their likes page, going through every account who liked them and either swipe left or right. instead of going through profiles normally from the main feed.

Im not sure if it is true, but there are posts on here suggesting if you do that, and "delete" a like from your likes page by swiping left, that person will then be able to see and re like you again. So if it's happening with profiles you swiped right on, that could be the reason maybe?

QuadrillionthBest

How do you know they are legit?

QuadrillionthBest

It's most like just scammers who keep on making new profiles? Using the same template each time. I'm no fan of tinder but the dating apps in general all have a lot of problems with fake accounts. They ban them and the scammers just use new details email phone number etc to make new accounts again

QuadrillionthBest

you could maybe try just swipe left and ignore rather than block? if you block/report then he can just make another account. if you ignore he won't even know if you've seen the super like or not and still won't be able to contact you as you haven't matched

QuadrillionthBest

Why would you want to keep your likes at 1 or 2 at all times?

QuadrillionthBest

they don't disappear if you swipe left in the regular stack. they only disappear if the user deleted their account, or if you buy premium and then swipe left on them from the likes page directly

In the UK as in the video you can learn in any car. Though instructors are likely to use new cars for various reasons. But you can practice driving in your own car outside lessons and even take the test in it if you want to. Most people take the test in their instructor's car though.

I do understand the sentiment but Tinder as an app, it really sucks for reliability, especially for guys. I had my account randomly locked awaiting verification once. It took a full week for them to unlock it again after uploading all the required selfies etc. Luckily didn't have any plans with anyone at the time but it would have sucked really bad if I had. Look through this sub and you'll find hundreds of people with the same experience

QuadrillionthBest

They do give free stuff as promo for the paid plans. I have heard of people getting free super likes and free first impressions (super likes with message attached)

QuadrillionthBest

If she unmatched you she will disappear. The blue plane is just showing there next to the chat to remind you how you matched
