It depends. If those atheists are funding organisations and lobbying politicians to take away the opportunity for christians and muslims to practice their faith and make it illegal then they functionally are trying to make christians and muslims cease to exist. A world where trans people don't exist and a world where all the trans people repress themselves looks the same to everyone except the actual trans people.

Why are the oppressed expected to meet the demands of the oppressor. Progress will never be made by just giving in to their definition of "normal." Queer people should not try to assimilate into cis and heteronormative demands.

In her interview with 60 minutes, kamala harris named Iran as the United States number 1 enemy, and iirc named the threat of them getting nuclear weapons as something that would need to be stopped. When asked if she would take military action, she said she didn't want to comment on hypotheticals.

The harm it causes is people feeling uncomfortable and kids possibly seeing it. I don't think being against public sex or nudity is against degeneracy at all. Having sex means you're a degenerate, but I think people should be able to choose if they're exposed to it or not. That's why it's also morally wrong to send unsolicited nudes or to expose yourself in front of a child.

The only real thing I think should be illegal when it comes to stuff like this is nudity or having sex in public. There are other things people might wear that might make me personally uncomfortable, but I agree that that line is impossible to draw in a legal setting and to have it be a good line that everyone can agree on.

Meh, I think it's just a little bit of fun. It's like continuing to call the fan base the "jackoffs." It's just a little something to kinda annoying jack just a little bit. But in a light hearted way ofc.

Discord also isn't the town square. It's a platform that has a policy, and if you don't follow that policy, you're not allowed there. If you're harassing someone in any privately owned place (a park, café, store, etc), you're gonna get kicked out, and it's the same with Discord.

The First Amendment doesn't apply to companies. It's only in reference to the government and how they can't infringe on your free speech. Like the saying, corporations are treated as individuals.

Quilli2474

freedom of speech doesn't apply to platforms like discord. If I kick you out of my house for saying nazi things am I also "cutting off your free speech"?

Quilli2474

I think it's hard to call them that. It's hard to call anyone the best in general because it's all subjective. My favourite is not bcnr though, it's king gizzard.

Quilli2474

it isn't a choice

I think the main thing that people feel is wrong in this situation is that directly monetarily supporting her allows her to spread her anti-trans views even more and more effectively.

Quilli2474

You are using percentages incredibly wrong and misleading here. The rise of lefthandedness increased by roughly 8 percentage points. However this was an increase of circa 300%. As such if you were to display the rise of trans teens in percentage points instead of percent, I don't even think the increase would be more than 5 percentage points. This distinction is extremely important and using it wrong like you did leads to misleading statements.

I am on your side however most trans people do have a mental illness, gender dysphoria. Which the treatment for is transitioning either socially or with surgery or HRT.

I am in no way disagreeing with you and love this comic just think that correct should be correct.

gay is used as an umbrella term in this case. if you want to I could say council of the queers instead.

Quilli2474

ok? people were dumb as hell and bigoted as hell in the past.

also, how do you explain the Greeks/Romans (can't remember which) engaging in homosexual behaviour?

Quilli2474

People say those things to Lgbtq+ people. So the person on the right switched it around on straight people to show how utterly stupid all of those questions are.

Quilli2474

The point is people say those things to Lgbtq+ people. So the person on the right switched it around on straight people to show how utterly stupid all of those questions are.

Quilli2474

Sex is more than vagina or penis, you have chromosomes, reproductive systems, etc.

Quilli2474

Yeah, but say a person is fully transitioned, top surgery, bottom surgery and pass 100% as their gender. I would say if you like everything about that person except that they are trans, that is transphobic. But for example if you are a straight man and don't want a partner with a penis I think that's reasonable

Isn't pansexual attraction without regard for gender?
