This is so cool!

Quirky_Number4460

Yeah, so…people should take responsibility when they break things, even by accident. This was not an unreasonable ask on your part.

Her pretending her “comfort” comes before her obligation to replace the items she broke when borrowed is a huge red flag and unacceptable behavior.

Stop hanging out with this person. They need to understand that they are entitled to act terribly, but that people will stop hanging out with them when they do.

Watch LaLaLand and see how you feel afterward.

Quirky_Number4460

This is so awesome!!!!

Quirky_Number4460

This is so sweet and well-crafted!

Quirky_Number4460

I love it!

Quirky_Number4460

Agreed

Quirky_Number4460

Yes! These feel natural.

Quirky_Number4460

It is beautiful! It twirls so nicely and fits like a glove. You’re so talented!

I think it will help if you put things in categories. The categories should make sense to you, so they can be anything. I have meat and cheese together on one shelf. All sauces- jam, butter, pesto, hot sauce on the shorter top shelf or door.

Then leftovers on bottom left and milk on bottom right. Veg in drawer and fruit (wherever it fits).

Quirky_Number4460

They all look so good!!

Quirky_Number4460

This is gorgeous!!! Oh my goodness!! I hope it goes somewhere prominent where it catches the light. You did an amazing job.

Quirky_Number4460

This looks amazing!!!

Hi!

I think you handled the conversation and circumstances wonderfully. I wouldn’t feel guilty about your actions and your dad is entitled to his emotions, but don’t feel obligated to apologize.

Another more pressing manner— it’s time to find a new safe spot for your mother’s things. If grandma has dementia she won’t know what’s what and could end up giving away or misplacing things during an episode, especially if her dementia is getting worse. That wouldn’t be her fault of course. But I would make sure things are somewhere safe or maybe someplace she cannot get to.

Quirky_Number4460

Yes! Love this film!

Quirky_Number4460

This is parody. This has to be.

Quirky_Number4460

I hope she is found safe.

NTA. This isn’t about cookies.

Does he always eat your food? Does he always eat a larger amount of the household food without being mindful or your food needs and the budget?

Are you now or have you ever been food insecure?

I agree it seems like a boundary issue. This may seem like a silly hill to die on, so I understand where people are coming from in the comments, but I think there is more at play here.

You have to decide if someone who constantly pushes your boundaries (around food) is someone you want to be with.

Older phones used to have programmable speed dial. So one button could be held and pressed and it would dial an assigned contact. I am thinking it may have been crushed in a way that caused the electrical signals to activate the speed dial for different numbers. It would make sense why it was all close contacts.

You may been right debris being lifted may have then shifted the phone so it stopped the short circuiting.

I’m so sorry. This is just random and mean. Did she start reading more fantasy romance and she is into the descriptions? Maybe she thinks it’s a harmless jest?

I would let her know it bothers you. She should the apologize and stop. If she doesn’t, she is being mean and that’s no way to treat a partner.

Also—I’m taller than your wife and 5’9” is a great height.

Quirky_Number4460

Do you have client facing jobs? This is so frustrating and downright rude, but it may also have bad implications for business.

Your employer may be more inclined to care if it’s pointed out that she refuses to change her pronunciation and she may be doing the same with clients—even after they correct her multiple times.

As a coworker, that’s beyond frustrating, if I was a client, I might drop the business. Just a thought.

I’m sorry she is purposefully mispronouncing your name. I’m guessing that means you are good at what you do and possibly also good-looking and she is being petty because she’s insecure and she can? Or she’s just mean.

Quirky_Number4460

Blue! Her lips were made red as the reddest rose. Red lipstick and a pink dress— not my fav.

Quirky_Number4460

So your husband tried to rape you last night. Full stop.

And then complained about his comfort, so he doesn’t feel guilty for trying to rape you last night.

What a winner.

Have you always said you didn’t want children? Because this is reading like he wants to trap you with one. Or like he doesn’t care of the consequences as long as he gets his, I’m assuming, 2 minutes of pleasure.

I know people here champion divorce and that’s often ignoring minutia and too simplistic a response to an otherwise complicated relationship, but this would be an automatic deal breaker to me.

There is no coming back from this. I would no longer trust my partner. Without trust, there is no real relationship. NTA.

But seriously consider your options.

Quirky_Number4460

The description you just described with your partner is also abuse. I know it’s difficult to recognize if you are used to worse behavior, but being controlled and belittled are not normal facets of love.

You are NTA for wanting closure; just be aware it may not come like you’ve hoped. I’m so sorry no one was in your corner and treated you the way they should have (well, kindly, and with unconditional love and respect).

Keep searching for it. And maybe get some counseling to help recognize your worth and to see signs of abuse.

Quirky_Number4460

Very well put.
