I had been on the scene for a couple years before I finally got my hands on my own 3D Printer.
I was finally able to Buy one, and I went with the best I could. A Clone of a Popular Brand/Model at the time.
Unfortunately, my timing was terrible and a much better, and equally priced Competitor Model came out like a week later.
That other Printer Outclassed every Spec of my Printer. And so, I spent the Years that followed Upgrading everything I could to try and catch up.
I Klipperized it almost immediately, and I knew that I was going to do so before hand. So, New Board(s), Screen(s), OrangePie3 LTS. Followed by Adding a Second Z-Rod and Stepper Motor. Trying all the different types of Build Plates. And I even Modded it to run a Laser Module too.
I don't mind the Tinkering with Hardware and Code and I love the Design side of things. That is what really got me interested in 3D Printing. That and the idea of the Star Trek Replicator... The ability to Make whatever you can Think Of...

As fancy as it looks, It's been running only 8GB of RAM for months now.

This would compliment my Gold Controller nicely

Here is what happened when I updated.
I got the Popup to Update Python, which I did.
Then I had to Completely Exit out of Qbittorrent for the Python Update to take effect.
After that, Click on View, then Search Engine.
I have not experienced any of the other issues you mentioned.

I just tried the chrome://crashes thing and It is showing crashes going back to April of this year. Seems to be happening a couple times a month.
This would seem to align with when I was forced to run on 8GB of RAM.
I did not even know about chrome://crashes, so Good Tip!

I run a two TV Setup. One HDMI and the other DP to HDMI via a Cable, not an Adapter. Both are coming form the same GPU.
I have changed every single Setting shown in the Image I've attached. Both with Auto Hiding the Taskbar turned On, and Off. I could not Replicate what you are describing.
Have you recently updates Windows or your GPU Drivers? I think the last Windows Update made Changes to how the Taskbar works so I am just wondering if that could be the issue.

I have always been XBox, going back to the Original. So I am used to the Xbox Controllers and Layout. And luckily for me, most PC Games that do support Controllers, support XInput (XBox Controllers/Layout) natively. The same cannot be said for PlayStation Controllers however. But, perhaps that has changed over the years.
Just something to think about, as most "Gamers" have a preference. Muscle Memory and all that.
Anywho, I consider myself a Casual Gamer. I play mostly SOLO Games, RPGs and FPSs and I do it all on TVs that are like, 2010 erra. So 1080P Max. My Video Cards is totally Overkill for this setup, but it gets the job done.
Otherwise, I didn't build my PC specifically for Gaming, so I will leave all that stuff to other people to talk about.
Have fun!

You say Peripherals are not important. But how good are you on Keyboard and Mouse when it comes to Gaming.
I don't play any Game that requires Mouse and Keyboard myself. I am Controller all the way. And when the odd Game does require KB&M, I use a program that lets me Map the Controls to use a Controller instead.
Also, are you a Couch Gamer or do you normally Play at a Desk etc. etc..

I lost 3 ticks of RAM from 2 Different Sets on the same Motherboard/CPU.
The first Died early this year, a 16GB Stick and then another 16GB stick from the same set a little while later.
I replaced those with two 8GB Sticks and within a day or two I lost one of those too.
The first stick died in place. It was working fine since the day I got it. Then all of a sudden my PC was acting weird (there were other signs in hindsight) so I started checking the usual. That is when I noticed that my PC was running on 16GB instead of 32GB.
Windows, the BIOS, nothing would even see that that stick even existed. It was like that stick of RAM, which was working perfectly fine one day, was just a Blank PCB the next... No Errors or nothing... Very odd.
The other two for sure Died during Restarts. And I am pretty sure the first one Died during a Restart too, I just didn't notice at the time.
Also, I do not run Overclocks on anything. Whatever is set in the BIOS by default is what I run on RAM/CPU etc.. I do run XMP profiles tho.
So, working absolutely fine, till Restart, then Dead. They were both Matching Sets of 2 - DDR5 RAM.
So, I've been stuck on my last stick of 8GB ever since. And I don't want to spend the Stupid amount of Cash to replace just the RAM, only to find out that it was my MOBO/CPU that killed the originals; have the new ones Die too.
As others have said, RAM doesn't usually just Die for no reason. And that has been my experience as well. In the 25 years I have been tinkering with PCs, I have never had a single stick of RAM just Die while in use... This year tho, I have seen multiple Posts about Sticks of RAM just randomly crapping out.
Both of my Set of RAM were DDR5. So naturally, having never experienced the like before. I assume it is a DDR5 Problem. But then again. There have been CPU/MOBO coding(?) issues over the last few years, so who the heck knows.

I see.
20 Minutes just to Load is never a good sign. But it's more Information than we had to start with.
Sounds like you might have a Bad (or Small) Storage Drive.
The "lot of Noise" thing only happens After the Screen Shuts Off?
RBuschy
Okay, I'll try again.
You bought it a year ago and finally decided to set it up.
You plugged it in, and now you are stuck in a Loop during the Setup Process.
Support suggested you try to Fix the issue by disconnecting from the Internet and trying again. But that didn't work either.
You said in your Response to Support that "No Internet connection" when you "submitted the language/time zone settings" (kinda sounds like it WAS connected before that)
I do not know how far into the Setup Process that Screen is, so I just want to confirm if you had your Internet disconnected during the Entire Set Up Process?
RBuschy
It may need a BIOS Update. I got mine second hand so I am not sure where to go to get it. But I think others have posted about it in this group before.
I just installed a new Windows ISO (via Rufus), not what was included on the Device. So I am not sure if that is why I was able to get away with not Updating the BIOS or not.

Just did a build in a TG3 Case for a friend. When I warned him that this could happen... All he could say was Great... It's the chance we all take with Fish Tanks.

I had a Picture of a Picture taken from Space via Crunchlabs that I would put on there first.

I lost 3 this year, all on the same board. Also seems Slot/Channel related.

Their WUpdates just seem to keep finding different ways to break things, don't they?
And who/where are all the Testers? Are they the ones asking for all these Features nobody else asked for or will ever use?
I mean, they do all these WUpdates that Break shIt on purpose...
Only to Break shIt even more when trying to Fix what they just broke!?
I was never a Fan of Windows as a Service, and stuff like this happening with every Major Update seems to prove it.
OH and I am Knocking on Wood over hear, cause it seems I have been Dodging a Bullet these last couple years.
RBuschy
I don't remember many specifics about the Original but from what I have seen of the New one... Is the Gameplay different? It seems different.
RBuschy
Are you still having this issue?
Are you running any sort of IP Blacklists?
I run PeerBlock with a Publicly managed Blacklist that ONLY blocks my Wi-Fi Internet, Normal Internet works fine.
The List also Blocks my Printer for some reason.
Soon as I turn that particular List Off, Wi-fi comes back, and Printer Prints.
It's weird to me that it does not Block everything, like it still sees the Devices, and still Connects. But stops them from doing the one thing their supposed to do.

Lol... My first was an Ender 3 Clone.
I think the most number of successful Prints I ever got out of it in a row was 5. And that was only after a lot of tinkering and upgrades.
