You’re discussing squad member responsibilities. Because there is no set definition for rifle specs in the military that leaves the civilian market to determine the definition.

That’s old technicalities that are now incorrect. The terms were faded by changing roles in the military but since they were never truly adopted and they are now defined by the civilian market, the large frame vs small frame distinction is correct.
