Don't use LLMs. You're missing out on studying. Create the flash cards on your own.
If you're using a textbook, use the SQ3R method. Create a document on notion, word, whatever. Do a first passthrough of the chapter, it should only take a couple of minutes, just skim through. Look at pictures. Look at anything bolded. Don't read, just recognize new information, and stuff you might already know. DON'T CREATE ANY FLASHCARDS YET.
Second skim through, on your document, write down the headers and subheaders. Once again, don't read anything other than the headers. DON'T CREATE ANY FLASHCARDS YET.
Third skim through, you're going to start writing stuff. If you come across something bolded, italicized, bulleted, it's likely kind of important. When you come across one of these words, read the sentence before and after it. On your document, write a question about it. Write it in a way that you can answer the question extremely briefly. DON'T CREATE ANY FLASHCARDS YET. For example:
- What does gastric lipase do?
- Digest milk
- The stomachs of newborn infants produce what?
- Rennin and gastric lipase
- What does gastric lipase initiate?
- Digestion of milk fats
You can, and should, try and write the question in more than 1 way to increase comphrension. The example above pretty much answers the same thing.
Now, you're going to read the chapter again. DON'T CREATE ANY FLASHCARDS YET. You should have a lot of questions on your document. You should have a fairly good idea of what's in the chapter, and where your questions come up in the chapter. As you come across a word or something, put the answer into your document under the question. Do this for all of your questions.
Congrats, the hard part is over. Now, you're going to open up anki and copy and paste the questions into the text field. You'll have to adjust the questions to make it into a cloze deletion, but it'll be pretty easy. For example:
- The stomachs of newborn infants produce what?
- Rennin and gastric lipase
Turns into: The stomachs of newborn infants produce {{c1::rennin}} and {{c2::gastric lipase}}. You do this for all of your questions. Then you're done and you don't have to read over the chapter ever again.

Image occulusion for text is a bad idea. That's a lazy way of creating flashcards and studying. You wouldn't be encoding the information.
Image occulusion for pictures might be a good idea if you need to know the information.
I would recommend checking this out for how to write good anki prompts too: https://andymatuschak.org/prompts/
