american bully. looks too big to be a staffy or apbt.
RabidLizard
ask your vet. personally i wouldn't do it.
RabidLizard
unfortunately this is very very normal. she's teething and also at an age where she has little to no impulse control which is a recipe for lots of biting. just continue to redirect her onto toys. she's gonna be a bitey little terror until all her big girl teeth grow in
RabidLizard
haha thank you :) unfortunate that you aren't local! sounds like we have some common interests
RabidLizard
go for it :)
RabidLizard
lately I've been playing a lot of forza horizon :)
RabidLizard
this would be a horrible idea with a dog of any breed
RabidLizard
i don't imagine it'll be applicable to most people here but i got a urine culture done and the uti was indeed gone. I am a trans man who has been on T for several years and I'm fairly certain that my lingering urinary symptoms were caused by my atrophy due to T

still playing fh5 on pc. i got the game pretty late (just a couple months ago) and will switch to fh6 once i think I've exhausted fh5. I'm still having a lot of fun, the festival playlist keeps me pretty busy
RabidLizard
mostly apbt. 17 inches and 40 lbs is well within standard, especially for an adolescent female
RabidLizard
if i had to guess, I'd say he looks more like an american bully, but i absolutely cannot say for sure. I have seen dogs that i was sure were bullies get their dna tests back as 100% apbt and vice versa. there is so much overlap between apbts, amstaffs and american bullies that it's really just a crapshoot without a dna test or a pedigree.
definitely not a staffy though, im surprised so many people are guessing that. they top out at like 35 lbs.
RabidLizard
it is not worth buying the racing game if you do not like racing games, no.
RabidLizard
haven't played 6 yet, but i was really bummed by how much the lucid air sapphire sucked in fh5
RabidLizard
pit/mastiff would be my guess. 90 lbs is too big to be purebred apbt. maybe some boxer thrown in as well.
RabidLizard
oh my god those ears 😂 definitely agree that she looks like a pit mix, not sure with what
RabidLizard
almost impossible to tell at this age, they look way too young to be separated from their mother.
RabidLizard
my bad, i misread. I still cant think of any herding or working breeds that fit your criteria, but since you said you're looking at sporting breeds too an american cocker would be my recommendation.
I'd steer clear of anything high energy so no pointers, setters, shepherds, border collies, etc
RabidLizard
with all due respect, I don't know of any medium sized working breeds that only need 20 minutes of exercise a day.
RabidLizard
looks identical to a pit/boxer we had at the shelter i used to volunteer at as a teenager
RabidLizard
some sort of bully breed in there I'd bet. That blocky head is a dead giveaway
RabidLizard
looks like an overweight Norwegian elkhound
RabidLizard
was this a gradual development or did it seem to show up overnight? if it's the latter I'd think about getting him checked out by your vet.
RabidLizard
i usually use his normal kibble (ppp puppy lamb and oatmeal) at home or when going over a cue he already knows, but when we're out in public or he's learning something new he usually needs something higher value
by some miracle though my annoyingly picky eater loves his prescription food so I may be able to use it more than I thought. maybe he just doesn't like purina lol
the dough balls idea is genius though i may have to try that
RabidLizard
I'll have to ask my vet about those!
pit, maybe some boxer or something thrown in as well. mostly pit though.
