Doesn't mean Youtube enforces it correctly. Much of their moderation is AI-powered nowadays or at least a barebones skeleton crew of humans. Unless you're a big Youtuber with millions of subs, you will struggle to fight the copyright strike, justified as your case may be
Rablusep
Some Wendy Carlos would be great. But she's also notoriously strict about her music being posted online, so copyright would probably be a problem, lol

If you have redstone builds that span any significant distance, they're affected by render distance. I try to make any redstone contraptions usable on normal or short, but I usually play on far
Other than that, away from redstone or rail systems, fog can be liminal and fun
I play a1.1.2_01
Rablusep
So does Babbitt!

Nightmares lasted through beta 1.8 actually. As did the armor durability-as-protection system (not that you mentioned this one, just thought I'd throw it in)
Rablusep
To be fair, that's usually what a one-hit wonder is, in popular music. Rarely does someone write only one good song, but sometimes only one gets traction, for one reason or another

Sniffer dimension confirmed?? 👀

I wouldn't really call that pseudointellectual larping, though. Feels a bit hostile to assume that.
With Chopin, everyone knows his nocturnes are great already. They're standard repertoire for a reason. If you say you enjoy them, you aren't really adding much to the conversation because, well, so does everyone. Join the club.
If you enjoyed one of his underrated pieces, though, for sure, you could advertise that. Because if you enjoyed it, others might too.
And similarly with an underrated composer that most people have never even heard of (much less heard a piece from), advertising what you enjoy is just giving other people a potential starting point with their music.
Rablusep
Call me basic, but... Music for 18 Musicians was the first piece I heard by him and I still love it!

Lightning also converts pigs into zombie pigmen if they get struck. Which is the only (vanilla, non-custom-map) way to see a pigman in the overworld this early before mobs could travel through portals. (But it'll despawn, of course, once you wander too far away. As will the charged creeper)
Rablusep
That'd capture similar vibes as alpha quite nicely, with its neon grass on the surface but dark and scary caves below. Solidly counteracting what OP is complaining about
Rablusep
Speak for yourself! I like that they're adding something Aether-adjacent to vanilla and by the actual Aether dev at that! (KingBDogz)
It might ultimately be lame, sure, but I'm willing to give them a chance. (I'm cautiously optimistic)
Rablusep
/uj Genuinely I think one of the reasons I love alpha is the saturated colors; the neon grass, bright blue water, yellow sand, etc. It's very cartoony and reminds me of Windwaker, or other games like that (aided also by the fantastical terrain).
Rablusep
Old MC so liminal and spooky!!1!
/uj I hate that attitude as someone who exclusively plays the older versions. Sure, those vibes are present a liiiittle but if that's the main thing you're feeling, it's on YOU for not making your base cozy enough, lmao
Rablusep
Probably because lots of people want an end update, but there's not a lot of agreement on what specifically it should include. So no matter what they'll do, they won't please everyone. A new dimension has no preconceived ideas of what it should have, so it's easier for everyone to just judge it for what it is
(Still want an end update though...)
Rablusep
Wyschnegradsky. He did a lot with microtonal music, though it might be a bit dissonant for some people's tastes. I recommend the 24 Preludes and La Journée de l'Existence
Rablusep
OP said in the post it's nested 10 layers deep
Rablusep
You can obtain it now, in multiple different ways. Yes, it's a feature. Maybe not intended as one initially, but undeniably one now (and has been for more than a decade)
Rablusep
Not because it deserves to only be posted there
But because it's too good to only be posted here
😂😂😂

I stopped playing when they added a third block type. Cobblestone and grass were good enough for the pioneers, so they're good enough for me!
rd-132211 my beloved 😤

Yep, and then it spreads. And since this is alpha, it spreads very fast and very far
Rablusep
Break a few of the leaves in the bottom layer and it should re-kickstart the decay. It just gets kinda stuck/confused sometimes but it'll all decay eventually, within 5-10 mins usually
That is a forum signature which simply displays whatever the user currently has it set to. They were last active in 2014 and thus it could've been set as late as then. I'd check with the Wayback Machine.
That said, I'm pretty sure the phrase was used at least as early as 2011. I don't have a source or anything, I just feel like I remember it being used.
I'd try digging through some old let's plays, or maybe even just the comment sections, both of which are unlikely to be indexed for a google search. There's not really a great way to search either in bulk, though... and doing so manually would take too long... (but still might be fun)
