I am aware of how long games take to make these days, but it would've been nice if we got SOMETHING from Toby. Hell, even a Bluesky shitpost is more than enough to soothe the soul of impatient Deltarune fans like us, and admittedly, myself.

Don't even get me started on the Half-Life fandom, they've most likely gone the longest without a proper new installment of the series (excluding Alyx, since it's VR exclusive without mods)

I don't really go out of my way to bait people into making Silkpost-level garbage like this, but if you ask me, of course some people are gonna do it to cope with the fact that Toby Fox is keeping quiet about any updates on the next chapter outside of the usual newsletter, which we haven't even gotten in so long it's kinda sickening.

They've been doing this for a while now. This usually happens when a huge game comes out, or a sale just so happens to be around when these pop-ups occur. I do wish there was a way to turn it off because it can be obnoxious sometimes but hey, what can you do.
