I could see this being a trilogy that ends with the Hammer of Dawn counterattack in 1 AE. Would be sick.
Raging_Goon
It’s minor, but USB-C ports on the both the bottom and the top. Also FSR4 and just full AMD Radeon present and future support (within reason) would be great. Ideally, upscaling should feel a solved problem for the Steam Deck 2.

It's frustrating. I fear their halfsies creations systems will stress their cell-based game architecture down even more. I don't think anyone would have cared if tracker's alliance was a fully paid $10-15 expansion. Creations muddy the waters and I bet have something to do with your error.
Raging_Goon
They should have made this a mini expansion and made a bigger splash. Feeding it as free content mixed with creations paywall was not the best move. A lot of people will likely miss it.

I don’t know why it isn’t hard locked. If they don’t want to be heavy handed, it should at least be hard locked until at least one class hits the minimum for the next difficulty.
Raging_Goon
Yep. It’s a global simultaneous launch
Raging_Goon
I miss this so much
Raging_Goon
My hopium take is that native DX12 will actually make it run better.
Raging_Goon
No upgrade indecision. It is a fixed set of hardware and you can focus on the games.

Get well soon! We all miss you, but health first!
Raging_Goon
That's what I see a lot of. The only hesitation I have about the HD490 PRO is that they're the same driver / internals right? Are they really that different?
Raging_Goon
No, I am just looking to bridge the gap a bit more and was curious if my setup was contributing to the gap.
Raging_Goon
Yes it is. I used to not think so, but a bigger screen does make a difference. However, it has to be at the same or better quality than the display it is bigger than. I’d take a 27” 1440p current gen OLED over a 65” bad 4K TV for immersion, as an example.

Opposite: playing now to do everything since I suspect it’ll pick up after Blood and Wine chronologically.

I’m conflicted.
On one hand, I’ve been replaying The Witcher 3 leading up to its new DLC and not seeing loading screens in the open world has been nice.
On the other hand, The Witcher 3 has black screens between cutscenes and at least three hubs with fast travel loading screens. It also doesn’t have the level interactions that a BGS game does. Skyrim also loads mega quick these days with an SSD.
I think somewhere in the middle would be nice. Maybe some caves and dungeons could have seamless entrances. Their cell based architecture makes this difficult if I had to guess, but maybe not impossible.

NF-A18 is a great idea. Torrent, BF360, Frame 4000D, and I think some Cooler Master cases all support and/or come with 180mm fans.
Raging_Goon
A14s if you have the choice. Their static pressure differences are insignificant compared to the amount of air the A14s can push at a lower RPM.
Raging_Goon
Am I the only one that thinks it’s annoying to setup? I have the relaunch the game multiple times to ensure it is working.
Raging_Goon
All depends on what you are doing. By default, I'd recommend the D15 G2. However, if you have sustained, all-core CPU workloads, then the LC1 is worth considering. Even then, it would still be fine, but it's food for thought.
Raging_Goon
How's the build quality of the BF360 vs. other brands you've had cases for?
Raging_Goon
Yes or even just remove the front top fan, especially with a flow through cooler.

It stopped working sadly so now I use an Anker one. The Anker one is technically better in fast charging specs and size, but I miss the Steam Deck one. It looked cool, as weird as that may sound, and I liked that it matched the Steam Deck.
