MAD Magazine once remarked that Benny Hill would have been thrown off the air years ago if American censors could understand dirty jokes told in a Cockney accent.

And this week, Calleigh is an expert on acoustic waves. Next week, she'll be an expert in blood spatters. The week after that, she'll be an expert in gas chromatography. And the week after that, she'll be an expert in DNA.

Songs From the Big Chair by Tears for Fears. Loved that album but nothing else they did.

It just meant the California bosses, bringing bodyguards who knew Karate, were considered a little eccentric.
BTW, you should totally read the book. It was the top-selling novel of all time for awhile.

And the book also says that a consigliere was normally older than the Don, as he was supposed to be a guy who'd seen it all and could properly advise the boss. Hagen being younger than his Don was considered unusual.

And they hit RALPH'S game. Not Tony's or Johnny Sack's. No way Ralph could forgive them without looking weak even if nobody had been clipped.

Sunshine forgot a key rule of this life: When a nervous idiot is pointing a gun at you, it's probably a bad time to pontificate.

And the second time they hit Comley Trucking, Brendan was clipped and Christopher only survived because Livia put in a good word for him with Junior.

Ripper Owens is a fantastic singer that 95% of the hard rock bands on Earth would be privileged to have as a vocalist.
But he's still not Rob, and I'm sure he'd be the first one to agree.

It can happen. Steve Perry, out of Journey for decades, still gets 8% of every show off the top.

Also, I believe KK and Richie have a good relationship. They're not best friends or anything, but they do like and respect each other. It's possible that Richie could be the go-between for KK and the rest of Priest. That would help explain the Exciter Records connection.

It was 86 degrees in Denver yesterday. It took me less than ten seconds to look that up.
Next time, look things up before you post.

Exactly. The FBI and local police and everyone else have to prove you committed an actual crime.
All the IRS has to prove is you made a bunch of money and didn't declare it on your taxes.

FYI for anyone having a hard time finding the remix on streaming: On Apple Music at least, it's not listed under "Albums", but under "Compilations" for some reason.

I played the game all the way through when it came out and loved it. Had a great time.
But when I played the Aiden Pearce DLC, I realized something: If a game can be about anyone (which Legion is), it's really about no one. There is definitely a plot in the main game (DedSec vs the bad guys), but there aren't any personal stakes because, of course, the game literally doesn't know who you are. The emotional story simply is not there.

When Carlito finally reaches the train, we think he's made it, then we hear Benny Blanco's voice? I remember my mother yelling "NO!" at the television (my wife and I had already seen it but she hadn't). What a great film.
RaiderDuck
You can tell how much fun he's having. He makes the character simultaneously ridiculous and menacing.

I checked out his movie criticism book on Kindle Unlimited. Glad I didn't pay for it. As talented a filmmaker he is and as much as I've enjoyed his films (I've purchased Reservoir Dogs six separate times in various formats), he's a mediocre film critic at best.

There are few albums you can pull something completely new from every time you listen.
This is one of them. A true Desert Island Album.

Dark Magus is really good, but it's not on Agharta/Pangaea's level IMHO. With all respect to Dave Liebman and Azar Lawrence, Sonny Fortune was a better sax player.

Bernie Torme. (Well, not really, but I thought someone should at least mention the guy.)

Someone's getting coal in his stocking...

Remember the old joke?
Q: How can you tell if someone doesn't own a television set?
A: No need. They'll tell you.
It's there, at least in the US. I just checked.
