When I was in an apt that didn't have a charger, I got a foldable scooter and would drop that thing off at a slow but cheap charger and then go scoot home and scoot back to pick it up. Easy peasy.

I used to work for a financial institution doing IT work. One day a big wig asked me to go to dinner with some people just in case they had an IT questions. I went, answered 1 question about IT and sat there eating my $150 steak and $40 onion ring tower, and $30 drinks. I literally had no idea why I really was there, until afterwards we went to karaoke. The potential clients were Asian. I belted out my best rock ballads and they ended up putting ties on my head and signed with the company, investing millions.

I have a slightly different suggestion. Use Google voice as your voicemail service (you can do that by basically forwarding VMs to Google voice) and just mark his number as spam.
