Mac Studio. Dgx is good but the memory bandwidth is like 4-5x what the spark is so you’ll (in theory) get 4-5x generation speed. That’s being generous but you’ll definitely get faster speeds. Plus you get a whole ass Mac not just a dgx 

The reason they changed anti cheat is a good thing. The old one was notoriously resource heavy. This new one gains 5-15 fps, it’s a very noticeable difference. They didn’t change the anti cheat cause of mods, mods breaking were a byproduct cause they were set up to work around/with the old anti cheat.  People will re-make or update the mods to work with the new one and it’ll be like nothing changed in a week or two. This is a nothing burger story.

They're very good. The generally accepted rule of measure is that qwen 3.8 flash next is 1) Amazing (it is) 2) about on par with Opus 4.6-4.8. In my anecdotal experience, I would say that's accurate

Haiku is great, cheap and really fast. I've had it use the REA mcp to reverse engineer a few pieces of software just as a fun test already and it does great. There are a few small things it got hung up on that I had to be like "it's okay buddy you can install Ghidra" but after straightening it, it did go. It's SO fast.

Revenue is not profit . Also their profit numbers are notoriously cooked with accounting fudgery. I love Claude but come on man. Not to mention the hundreds of billions in agreements they have to start paying in 2027. 

it's also silly to close source it, especially with how easy it is to reverse engineer stuff now. I already reverse engineered halogen, it's cool but not that special. It's basically just tuned gpu kernels, lower precision choices and some stuff to make it more stable and a little better with concurrency. It's just finely tuned for the strix halo. It's nice but there is no reason for them to keep it closed source, it benefits no one.

Qwen 3.8 flash next is legit game changer for the local space. I’ve been able to use it for legitimate work, anything i would throw at Claude. It’s slower, but it’s getting a lot faster as people optimize performance on the strix halo. But performance aside, it insane how capable this model is. 

Dude this is such a cool idea. Look in to the different startup credits companies like Microsoft and Amazon give for free. I think this is an idea worth trying to get something to keep it usable for free while you find a respectful way to keep it online.

Halogen and gufo with qwen 3.8 flash next are the top dogs right now. I suggest using swift flash next. Basically less thinking with little to no quality loss so it’s even faster. 

I’m working on an engine to give and open source to everyone that’s not done yet. I’m consistently getting 55-60+ tok/s with q4 quants and as fast or faster than halogen and gufo on all other metrics but I’m still working on it and it’s not ready yet, but I’m using it personally and it works well so far. I want it to be useful beyond just one model (flash next), ideally maximize speeds without quality loss on any model you drop in.

They’re different owners is  why.  Hilliard/Dublin are owned by one owner and Worthington by another. It used to all be together cause there were a few more metro locations, then they had to downsize cause gyms are tough to make profitable and the owner of Hilliard/Dublin bought those two and I think the original owner still owns Worthington. I’ve done some contract work for and spoken with the owner of Hilliard/Dublin a bunch and asked this before. Nice guy. There’s no bad blood between the locations just different owners. Metro is one of the only good gyms in the area IMO even despite this. Small, family-owned, and none of the weird gotchas of typical gym shit just poor websites lol. I’m trying to get them to let me redo the sites because they’re in desperate need.

This is 100% vaporware or a straight up scam. With the prices of everything continuing to increase, and the fact that you can’t find a Blackwell 4000 for as little as the whole package here, this is a grifter capitalizing on the hype. 

If anyone really believes this is real and buys it then you deserve to have your money taken from you.
