I disagree with the comments saying this is justified. Screen restrictions are for toddlers. You're going to be 18 in a year and most likely off to post secondary where you won't have your parents there to regulate your behavior like this. If you can't self police these kinds of things now your first year on your own will be a nightmare. Your parents are setting you up for failure.

Why would this information be public in the first place ? The school isn’t informed on the post secondary choices of it’s alumni unless it’s voluntary as far as i’n aware , and I graduated fairly recently .
