I’m rocking between gold/plat and just hit level 40 Domina. In terms of doing damage, she’s really fun because you’re rewarded for precision aiming and correctly reading where your target will be. Throw a crystal charge followed by a primary burst at a squishy and they’ll be dead quick. So good aim is a must.

Make sure you’re placing the shield where you want to push up to, but also don’t make it your only source of cover unless you have to. With the curve of the shield it works well on corners.

And her ult can put the other team in a panic if you time it right. Follow the ult with a crystal charge in the middle of those you’ve caught for extra pressure.

I use the efficient design minor perk because I’d rather have the extra healing. The extended primary just causes me to overextend my target priority. And for the major perk I use the one that lets you reposition the shield. Just makes more sense for team pushes.

BBH, but most bosses have become way less daunting after hundreds of hours in Nightreign

I’m going this direction, spending the next 4 months refining typescript and react plus diving into Go and Python for backend stuff (FSO and boot.dev). Currently employed as a frontend dev and hoping it stays that way until I find something else, we’ve already had layoffs and I can’t help but think I’m next.

Kickback Gaming is the best place in my experience

RazorLeaflet

That’s the one!

There’s one in XII that you find in the treetops on a narrow path. I had to micro manage the hell out of that fight on my last playthrough because the bad breath just hits everything. Can’t remember if it’s part of a hunt or some other quest

RazorLeaflet

Still my favorite gunblade in the game, it’ll take a lot for me to glamour something else over it

Rotating between Kirby Triple Deluxe, Pikmin 2, and Unicorn Overlord!

RazorLeaflet

I know 8 is a better game, but I prefer the pacing of items in 7. And the dual screen’d map is so cozy

FE Awakening looks fantastic with the texture packs on the Thor screens. Having such a good time with it

RazorLeaflet

Fire Emblem Awakening with the Amateur texture packs. Also got DQ8 on 3DS with the HD textures and symphonic music patched in that I’ll dive into soon!

RazorLeaflet

And MelEnia is the blade of Miquella

Fighting Endsinger in FFXIV

female Viera, FFXII is top-tier Final Fantasy for me and I like that Viera fill the archetype of a woodland race like typical fantasy elves

RazorLeaflet

If it helps you can think of it more like an RTS where you set up automations, watch the battles play out, and have to intervene sometimes. Zodiac Age helps a ton with the fast forward too. I personally love the combat system and am still waiting for studios to iterate on it

RazorLeaflet

Love the colors on this one

RazorLeaflet

Very cool! Just last week I was watching downhill MTB videos thinking it’d be fun to have a game that simulated that experience since I likely would never do the more insane ones IRL lol

RazorLeaflet

Oh that’ll be so cool in her style!

RazorLeaflet

I have my forearm done by Zoey and I’ll be finishing the upper arm later this year! She’s incredibly talented, this looks so good!

RazorLeaflet

Exactly this. I miss when UIs had character, something that added to the experience in a way that menu-ing felt seamless with the gameplay itself. Nowadays we get menus that have white text in a corporate font to be minimal. I first noticed it in Battlefield 1 and things haven’t improved much in the AAA scene since.

RazorLeaflet

This is what I did with FFXII this year. Playing through for the first time since release was like remembering bits of a dream I had 3 months ago

RazorLeaflet

Oh yeah? I’ve been struggling with precision movement as Reina using buttons. But I’m also just bad so

RazorLeaflet

I’ve really been considering this enclosure so I can use stick for Tekken and buttons in 2D fighters

RazorLeaflet

I’d definitely check it out with my kid! Would love to see some fighting games there
