Same. I got Lemon Squeeze instead

RebuffedChaff

Gaggimate next?

RebuffedChaff

Waiting for the Timemore black mirror dot to arrive. Like £30 but it looks like it’ll go perfectly with the Gaggimate

RebuffedChaff

Do we have any idea when this is going to be available outside of China? It would be great for my GaggiMate

Lars & Margo are also fantastic as well. Based in Cornwall. Occasionally have real fruit bombs but tend to skew towards washed coffees

Lars & Margo from Cornwall are fantastic

RebuffedChaff

Lars & Margo based in Cornwall a great choice that I don’t see recommended enough

RebuffedChaff

What kind of stuff did they hint towards?

RebuffedChaff

Which other grinders?

RebuffedChaff

That’s what I thought. I just don’t want to waste it all trying to dial it in

RebuffedChaff

Ive never tried a drawdown that short before. Even with other anaerobics. This is something very different though

RebuffedChaff

Increasing the dose can help

Think of it as helping the LibDems become the official opposition by denying a tory seat. Makes it more palatable

RebuffedChaff

Labour definitely more likely than Lib Dem in SE Cornwall. It’s a shame the way our voting system works but I’d vote for the Labour candidate if you want to keep the tories out

RebuffedChaff

This Ugandan natural by Lars & Margo in Cornwall is exceptional. A real fruit bomb

Seaborgium was named after Glenn Seaborg, who was alive when it was discovered and confirmed.

K6 apparently tastes similar to the K-Ultra but for under half the price

“The Coffee Bar Birmingham” is incredible. Quite small but lots of different beans. House espresso is Red Brick too

I’ve had the Aergrind 2022 for just over a year now. It’s a pain trying to compare it to other grinders because there isn’t much of a community around it.

To keep it short, if you’re only doing aeropress or moka pot with the occasional pour over, it’s great. If you travel a lot, it’s great. But having recently picked up a Kingrinder K6, I have to admit the grind consistency of the aergrind isn’t ideal. Its partical distribution is quite wide, so it’s easy to get good coffee, but hard to get GREAT coffee.

Dialling in with espresso is also pretty hard with it, despite the stepless grind adjustment. Although tbf, that might be an issue with the picopresso being fussy

RebuffedChaff

Did you swap out the burrs in the Mazzer Super Jolly?

RebuffedChaff

I might give the K6 a go and return/sell it if I’m not happy with it

RebuffedChaff

What’s your pumping technique been when you’re that fine?

RebuffedChaff

Lars & Margo based in cornwall have a fantastic fruity Ugandan natural
