You could do some small mods, like ones that add basic mobs, or add blocks, maybe some simple tech mods. But graphics cards handle rendering, and when you have mobs with multiple parts and animations, or moving machines like in the Create mod, or magic mods that are particle heavy or special effects, crazy biomes and terrain generation would probably crash after the GPU runs out of memory. If you find any mods that are 'minimal rendering' he'd probably be ok, just keep in mind they'll add up.

With any tire, you're as strong as your weakest link. Aka if 'part' of your tires bad, the whole tires bad. Also looks pretty close on the wear bars in some spots. If you can't replace with new tires, they're better than nothing, but would you bet your life on them?

RechargeableAA

Probably because you're more mature than your age. Most people never pick up on these things. It's just a game tho, don't think too hard on it

RechargeableAA

^ this guys right

Ima guess here, not a certified mechanic. In my experience, this sounds like something is off balance, which means something's loose, and I don't check what it is, I'ma find out either way. If you can hear it from outside the car too, definitely about to fall apart

His graphics card is his issue, it's extremely outdated. Not sure he will ever be able to support much of any mods at all.

RechargeableAA

Nope sorry. That's the shoulder of the tire, considered non-repairable

RechargeableAA

It's not getting fuel, check fuse or replace fuel pump, maybe injectors

I don't think Minecraft is heading in a 'bad' direction. I think you make some valid points, but Minecraft is still a sandbox, and an adventure game. They made the game 'infinitly' generate so that you can explore if you want, and have added structures, mobs, and dungeons to find while doing it, which I think keeps the game fresh. Now, they're adding a dimension that kinda seems to me like a weird overworld with less content, like the nether, which I visit for ender pearls, quartz and glowstone. The nether itself doesn't really serve a purpose, and I think the Sift will be more of the same. Honestly I think the last update with the happy ghasts are really weird and lame, and the cushions are cool for all the redstone contraptions people have made, but personally I've never needed to sit on anything in mc. I think they need better transportation like gliders for the ever growing world, a desperately needed end update (cmon an empty island for a final boss dimension?), more variation in special/rare equipment, and maybe some machines for us automation people. Minecraft has a design philosophy of everything added needs more than one purpose and I think that adds to the sandbox capabilities, but every update seems to add barely any valuable content apart from building blocks. Copper is still a useless item (imo) aside from building, but then they added the copper golem that's a good start to an 'everyday use case'. Minecraft could benefit from more milestones all in all. I'm optimistic that the Sift will add something to work towards at least

This is system files failing. Make sure you're hardwares fully seated

Questionable dirt?

Flatworld with regular underground generation

Same 🤣

RechargeableAA

Set all your configs to read only, disable cheats and lock difficulty. That's how I do it

RechargeableAA

The minimap shows you a slice of the y leve you're on. So if it's black, at that y leve is probably a solid chunk of stone or similar. If you leave to an unroofed area you will see the whole map. You can disable 'auto-underground mode' somewhere in the settings. (I don't remember what the setting is called)

Remolted is the original mod, and reshrimped is a fan made port. On new versions of mc fans will port a mod to newer version while the original author adds new content and fixes bugs. I would get remolted because it will be more widely supported as the official release, while if you're not worried about compatibility, reshrimped has 'improved' on some things in their own way

RechargeableAA

I played in alpha, not early enough for the flailing arm animations (iykyk) but before redstone was in the game. Made some mods for it too

RechargeableAA

Get it tattooed

RechargeableAA

Minecraft 1.20.1, get cave dweller and the knocker, and get TACZ for defense 😏

RechargeableAA

Seconded, hosting a server for 2 other people won't hurt performance and you can create your own pack (I recommend neoforge 1.21.1) and as long as you have the same mods (client side) you can play together

RechargeableAA

I did it after I beat the main story and there's some references to it
