This would be delightful. And even just building from the chest would be a godsend. Not necessarily interacting with crafting stations.

RedCody

I think for crafting/upgrading gear and food ... I don't mind the vanilla experience. BUT BUILDING??!

Building anything of scale with iron/stone/marble is just painstakingly tedious to continuously restock myself every 60seconds. I would love if the 'Building' section of the construction tool could grab items from a nearby chest/cart.

RedCody

I'd ignore happy bot for a while. I'm at 37% completion and mine is still lvl 3

RedCody

Ooo get lvl 12. Then unlock stars until you get the 12 star. It's really strong

RedCody

Seems like you need to get astrology launched a bit past the staring at screen phase. By either using the lootbug buffs or fueling the starburst drone, you can reach 100% auto-catch rate to let it idle. Farm the stars/upgrades that boost auto-catch rate and then star/superStar income.

One cheeky thing you can do is to stack up lootbug and elixir drone buffs. There's an offline setting that says "Consume buff timer and item buffs offline". If you disable this, while checking the game and looting your lootbugs every hour or so ... you can stack up a buff that gives auto-catch-rate 100%. Just make sure to not leave the game on, so you can save your buffs!

Next is to work on the Skill for CTRL+F 'Stars'. Once astrology feels more automated, you can reassess if you're ready for plat strat.

don't forget dvergr lanterns from mistlands can be broken for cores!! There are usually a bunch in the infested mines

RedCody

you're not alone -- I had the same reaction from the original post as you.

I'd even go further to say that having one role be gendered (out of builder, explorer, housewife) lacks acknowledgement of all the house hubbies out there chef'n it up and keeping the boars fed.

the role could have easily been called "Homemaker".

RedCody

obsidian + crystal would go hardd

RedCody

So interesting. Tysm!

RedCody

could i see what submods you rolled on your core mods? Curious how you fit all those goodies in with the addition of pBH

RedCody

Pls let it increase fog of war discovery radius while sailing

RedCody

Is this just for the "rewards" section and not the emporium?

RedCody

awesome list!

I'd love love to see some spyglass item that allows you to uncover more fog of war while sailing.

RedCody

being able to chuck rocks would be so funny. Greydwarfs can get a taste of their own

RedCody

would love if defeating each biome boss protected your skills from dropping below a certain threshold. Losing my low level less common skills (swimming, sneaking) on death feels needlessly punishing for an already challenging game.

RedCody

i do believe it should be pretty easy to find the needed copper/tin from a nearby forest and hike/boat it over.

RedCody

i edited the post moments after I made it. The other information is true though about how the flagged items can spread

RedCody

gotcha, thanks. I wanna figure out how to recreate the bug!

RedCody

Interesting, thanks. I want to figure out how to recreate the bug!

RedCody

has anyone been able to recreate this bug in a controlled environment? (An environment where there is zero possibility of server member lieing lol)

RedCody

I don't think this is a bug. I believe this troll was killed by a flagged item.

(I've done a bunch of testing on this out of curiousity and HAVE NOT BEING ABLE to generate an item with this tag without some upstream source of devcommands)

Some examples I've observed:

  1. Adding a single flagged piece of wood to a stack of wood will flag every wood in the stack.
  2. killing a mob while wearing flagged gear/flagged weapon/flagged ammo will flag any loot coming off that mob.
  3. Harvesting resources with a flagged tool will flag any items coming off the tree/deposit/etc.
  4. Crafting gear with a single flagged item will flag the crafted gear

edit.. being corrected that a bug does exist, confirmed by devs. Curious what the conditions are to create the bug

RedCody

I haven't encountered this one yet despite seeing items get duped through serverlag.
The only times I see this tag are starting with devCommands and then downstream of that (item drops from a boar killed by an arrow that was crafted with cheated-in wood will also be considered "cheated-in")

RedCody

I've done some testing on this. If the weapon/tool you used was crafted with "cheated items" any loot will also be flagged as "cheated"

If you want to correct this. Download an add-on that lets you delete items. (I've used Quick_Stack_Store_Sort_Trash_Restock to delete things)

You need to go through your shit and delete everything that has been infected with this tag. It spreads

edit ... I do not think this is a bug. This is working as intended, someone in your server used dev commands to create items and has caused this.

RedCody

same

RedCody

golden combo can have some very wild outliers due to how waveskips and BHD free-ups can roll. I wouldn't assumed this difference is due to anything other than rng variance.
