With twins, breastfeeding was way way harder than pumping. Emotionally, physically, and mentally.

I have an undersupply and can't make enough milk to feed even one baby. But I have 2 babies to feed. So I have to supplement with formula. Which means they have to get the bottle anyway. So that adds way more time to feedings.

They couldn't even latch for the first 4 weeks. When they finally did, one baby gave me a blister. The other gave me thrush which I am still feeling 2 months later. When one baby bit and drew blood, I put a stop to the breastfeeding because I don't want them ingesting blood.

It is also difficult nursing both at the same time.

So I only pump now.

Thanks

It only takes a minute to pick up and hand off a baby

Sorry everyone. I should have clarified. In my request to my company, I let them know "my parents would absolutely be the primary caregivers Monday through Friday during work hours, not me." I would like to be home in case my dad has to go to the hospital via ambulance again. Or if something worse happens. It's just that if I am working in the office, I can't be at home when a terrible emergency happens. I am worried something will happen because my dad has been in and out of the hospital for 2 months.

But their response isn't reasonable given how they do not apply the RTO equally to all employees. St. Louis employees only having to go in once a month. Or the male engineer getting to move only 1 hour away and never go in.

My original request is to work from home, not to get more paid leave.

Can't afford a nanny or daycare. So there is that :/

Red_Potata

Then they should have informed me of the change in plan.

Red_Potata

I am afraid it isn't an overraction unfortunately.

They said they had the expertise and capability in-house to start the fluid drain on day #1. They still did the procedure in-house with the same vets from day #1, but they didn't do it till day #3.

They told me they would drain the fluid on day #1 and then observe him in the oxygen tank. I am overwhelmed by the fact that they went back on their word, on the plan I agreed to on day #1, and they never informed me until a week later by accident.

The info I am getting from other sources and vets is showing that they should have done the fluid drain on day#1, sent him home after stabilization, and then I bring him back later when the cardiologist was available.

The "advice" the 1st comment gave was basically not to ask reddit for advice.

Red_Potata

Thank you :) I will definitely make a lot of mistakes since I am still pretty new to DnD. I think this was the one thing I was most worried about, so I appreciate your insight.

So glad I asked the question!

I am gonna nix the whole idea and leave the barbarian alone. No more barbarian warlock!

In my mind, the barbarian would actually still just play as a true barbarian the entire campaign. Then, in the last session, the patron shows up and says, "Remember our pact and give me the Rod." So, technically the barbarian doesn't really use any warlock abilities at all since she doesn't know they are there. She only just feels a little different the whole campaign. But even with that, I realize I've taken away agency even before the campaign starts.

Red_Potata

I nixed the whole idea haha.

Red_Potata

Yeah I am realizing that. And I definitely don't want that. No more barbarian warlock! I might just start them off getting hired for a job.

Red_Potata

So glad I asked the question!

Totally agree with you there. The last thing I want is to take away player agency. I am gonna leave the barbarian alone. No more barbarian warlock!

Thank you so much for your response! Makes me glad I asked the question :)
Just to respond to your points in order:

  1. Totally agree with you there. The last thing I want is to take away player agency. I am gonna do the full stop and leave the barbarian alone. No more barbarian warlock!

  2. In my mind, the barbarian would actually still just play as a true barbarian the entire campaign. So, technically the barbarian doesn't really use any warlock abilities at all since she doesn't know they are there. She only just feels a little different the whole campaign. 3. Definitely not a jerk. I just don't know what I am doing :D The party is starting at level 9, so I was thinking that's how this guy could see that they are capable enough to hunt down the pieces of the rod for him. This allows him to do other things in the background and keep himself and his guys away from the influence of the rod.

But yeah the hiring may be the way to go! I'll check out that youtube video later today :)

Red_Potata

Yes. She was completely healthy until she got the shot. The shot caused her blindness, deafness, and so many health problems. She could barely walk or move. She was in so much constant pain. And we tried to see if she would get better. But for a long time, she got worse and worse and never got better no matter what we did. So we had to put her down.

And I nearly lost my cat because the shot almost killed her.

Don't risk the lives of your pets. It's not worth it.

Red_Potata

Yeah maybe! Hopefully they see my emails XD
