The problem with South Airport road is neglected crumbling infrastructure dating from 1974 and as pointed out a document discerption from what is suppose to be there. The County Road Commission local board likes to think of themselves as a tier above everyone else. And someone will say they started a steering committee, but i want to ask this question didn't they hire a firm to do a East to West corridor study. I wonder what happened to that? While yes a committee was started ,but the aggressive 2027 deadline of a concept plan will not work due to not just the road, but the utilities underneath it. If something does not come out of this then this all was political theater.

It sounds like the quality of pay does not meet the price of a $1,000 dollar monthly rent plus utilities. But according to Scott everyone who moves here can afford to buy a house. Or i don't know Garfield Township saying people with good pay can afford a house which is partially true. But when you here MMR the ambulance service say we cannot find local paramedics it makes you wonder. Working for MMR isn't a good job. It is not a wave of the wand that a person can instantly afford a house. And thus far you need a mixed housing market.

Maybe we should get rid of the local County Road commission board it could save money. And that money could be put more towards roads. Just sayin Michigan is the only state that has local county road commission boards. Others states have there county roads maintained underneath a department of public works.

I'm betting you found a home to buy instantly and one of those good jobs both a Garfield Twp. trustee and Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners describe. I have to say that in a satire way, because after 10+ years nothing changes Traverse city is a small town and we still have a hospital ambulance north flight. And people don't struggle to find a place to live. But hey at least a funny face should be the identity of Traverse City and the surrounding townships. But on a lighter note we only have activities during the summer. However it isn't the same thing during winter when the tourist go home, but we have plenty of things.

If this is a serious question and well i guess it deserves a serious answer. I've herd it's a shady spot for tourist and they might recruit you for the sinister deed of making TC into Grand Rapids.

You can make money during the summer for sure, but during winter forget about it that's when most of the tourist are gone.

Not enough HOA's or Home owners associations those sometimes prop up like Starbucks around every corner.

Maybe Airbnb,vbro and any other vacation rental app.
