All the professional sports leagues are doing this same thing because it's how they can skirt the law. It's the Faux news playbook. Yes the viewers may incorrectly assume it's a fair game, or that faux news is presenting news, but in reality it's all entertainment and those viewers are wrong.

No one said the NFL and other leagues shouldn't be investigated, but that is the reason they won't be investigated.

The point is it's not illegal. The statue makes bribery illegal. Doing your job poorly with the implicit support of your employer is not bribery.

That's 4B in pure profit in 3 months for the middle man. Socialized healthcare means all health insurance companies don't make that profit. It means the underlying care isn't inflated as well either. It means pharmaceuticals aren't expensive for no reason.

Every single step of the system is for profit at this point. The clinic or hospital makes a profit. The insurance company makes a profit. The collections company makes a profit. The pharmaceutical companies make a profit. Everyone makes a profit off people being sick or injured. That's the problem.

Not only is your healthcare insurance expensive - it has ruined everything in this country.

Your home owner insurance has to be expensive because there's a chance someone gets hurt on your property, they're going to have massive healthcare bills. Your car insurance, same exact thing, it's not the cost of replacing a car, it's the potential of sending someone to the hospital where they rack up hundreds of thousands in bills.

The knock on effects for the potential liability of someone going to the hospital has fundamentally raised the prices for everything.

This is what is wrong with this country. You go look it up. It's literally defined. The Senate holds a trial to convict. It's amazing how so many of you are completely ignorant of the law yet speak as though you have an understanding. Is it highly politicized? Yes. Is it only political? No. You need 2/3 super majority to convict..aka both parties.

You know what's unequivocally political? Picking judges. And the Dems are terrible at that.
