Exactly my point.

The Netherlands. Rugby

The financial problem is; people live much longer. Too long for any pension system.

So, I'd reduce the pension from 100% at 70 to a capped €800 a month at 74. And start building state owned apartment blocks to house them cheaply/free, like modern old people homes, so we free up family homes and bring the cost of living down.

I'd tax private pensions over €3K a month at 85% or something crazy.

I love the cycling infrastructure and despise joggers on the bike path.

Stability and ease.

Remember, some European currencies were slammed in the past by manipulation, rumours and dumping. It was very volatile.  All the European trade I now do is in Euro, no more exchange losses and delays, easy.

RelevanceReverence

With people under fifty it's quite common here in the Netherlands, over fifty absolutely not.

We all love the Falkirk Wheel 👍🏼

RelevanceReverence

Geen probleem, probeer het gewoon nog een keer.

RelevanceReverence

We hardly have any malls. I don't think this is a thing.

RelevanceReverence

No. But we do need companies to contribute again, it's a tax avoidance game at the moment.

RelevanceReverence

Yes. A geothermal plant could also do this, for a 10th of the cost these days. A fun idea for places like Helsinki and Ottawa (long winters).

RelevanceReverence

Nah, they won't.

Not everybody is against fascism, some like it, nearly 6.0%.

The plan was electric heatpumps (as with new builds) but the fossil lobby always gets her way.

RelevanceReverence

Yes

"The Green’s previous opposition to nuclear fission was rooted in its staunch opposition of nuclear weapons, one of the party’s founding principles."

I didn't know that this was the reason, I thought it would have to do with the outdated technology or the highest cost per kWh. Maybe they had a chat with the DoD?

RelevanceReverence

No

Disclaimer: am human.

Four (and I don't have very much people contact, interest or time). All of them wealthy and completely misinformed about EVs. The dealers for their usual vehicles would call electric cars "ipads on wheels" and all would say "if the battery goes, it's bricked", "range is a real problem".

Anyway, I didn't push, I just let them drive my Enyaq iv 80 and show them the figures. Charging infrastructure is abundant here in the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland and all of them have driveways at all of their houses, so they can charge at home anyway.

I also showed them the excellent Electroverse app and helped install a fancy Peblar charger, they all converted within a year.

Brands and their PR firms could really focus on informing customers. The fossil lobby is crazy strong.

RelevanceReverence

Denmark, Belgium and Germany.

RelevanceReverence

Absolutely. We always choose EU hosting.

RelevanceReverence

I don't think this is something to aspire to.

RelevanceReverence

That's a very good point.

UK and Switzerland/Austria

Mini America vs organised social states.

RelevanceReverence

In the Netherlands, mostly public transport.
