I'm with the other guy. Sure point systems can work, but I'm not interested in signing up, playing with an app, and loading stuff onto a card after every purchase..
I preferred when they would slap a few CT$ bills in your hand with your receipt. Then I could just take them home and stuff them into a box until it was overflowing. At which point I could gleefully count my fat stack of CT money, and figure out the best way to spend it. Remembering to scan an extra card, and having to monitor the accumulation in an app is just not appealing to me.

Metallica sucks. Weird that literally nobody has said this.. Is there like an unwritten rule that you have to like Metallica here? I mean. Their older albums were better sounding than their new ones.. But they're corporate sellouts, and they took Napster down because they couldn't stand to lose a couple bucks to pirates. I prefer pretty much any other thrash/metal band over Metallica. I've never been a fan of theirs. There's always been better options..

Living next to a pond in the country, the sound of the crickets and the frogs at night is probably my favorite thing about the property.. Why would someone hate the sounds frogs make? Better than traffic and night clubs etc...

Mate, as long as you don't enthusiastically shout the N bombs along with the music you're fine. I know how you feel asking this question though, I've rolled up to a drive through window with wutang playing, and as a white dude it's kinda embarrassing. 🤷🏻♂️ Method man said it. Not you. Lol just be chill and listen to your music. If you don't make it weird, people will just hear wutang and think: "Fuck yeah. Classic."

The joke is : in the last frame, the house is no longer there. It leaves you saying "Where house?". Plus the moon is there. And that's nice.

For practicing reloading, cycling the action etc, without using live ammo. And yeah I've used them at home. They're completely inert, no danger of accidentally firing, so I can practice loading up and racking a new shotgun in the garage for instance, to get familiar with the action, before taking it hunting or to a range. Also good for breaking in a stiff new action. Run some dummy rounds through it to break in springs and get the oil worked in..

Really? Not giggling at edgy words like a child means I don't have a sense of humour? I'd hate to see what stand-up comedy would be like if everyone had your basic bitch sense of humour.. "Fart." hysterical laughter "Cock." standing ovation 🙄

Yeah that was in the late 90s - early 00s. In the commercials the tagline was "And then I ate the bowl!" Check it out.

That happened to me about 10 years ago. I got a top sirloin roast that was bigger than a basketball for like $30. I cut like 20 steaks and a couple roasts off of it.

Gonna smell like ass you mean. Lol. I don't even understand why cigarettes even exist anymore.. We've invented alternatives that don't smell like burnt hobo socks.. I smoked for 10 years, switched to vaping for another ~10, then switched to zyns..
Within weeks of quitting, the smell of cigarettes went from inviting and comforting to repulsive.
P U!
Edit: lol downvotes for this episode of notinteresting are provided by people who smell like unwashed ass.

How did that make you laugh? If it's just for shock value it would be the same as naming your dog "cunt". Would that really make you laugh? Doesn't even draw a smile from me.. Maybe this brand of humour is aimed at middle schoolers..

Probably my favorite Hip song. I'm not like a massive hip fan like you guys, but I definitely love them.

It's not really about leaving money on the table man. I haven't shopped regularly at CT in years. I probably average 10 trips a year, and it's usually just to stop for a jug of coolant or oil etc. out of convenience.. If I still shopped there frequently it might make sense, but for my situation, it would be more of a pain in the ass remembering it than it would be worth. I'm leaving what, $3 a year on the table? Oh well.
Back when Canadian Tire money existed, it wasn't inconvenient or something you had to do. They just handed you your CT$ with the receipt and that was that. Didn't matter how often you went to CT, it just built up slower. I don't know, I'm only actively collecting rewards at one store, and I forget to give them my number half the time too. And I don't even know if there's an app. I have no idea how many points I even have with them..
IMO out of all the rewards apps, the old punch cards, and sticker cards and any other rewards programs that have existed over the years, Canadian Tire money, and pioneer gas money were the best. You didn't have to remember to do anything extra. Just stuck your hand out, and accept the reward currency.
I think that's part of the reason they stopped making it. Think of the money they're saving not giving rewards for literally every dollar spent in store. Now they only have to give it to the die hard couponers that aren't put off by the idea of signing up for a program and downloading an app. Some people have apps and points programs going for everywhere they shop. But most people find that stuff tedious and unappealing.. I'm sure they're giving out far less CT$ these days as a result.
