Excellent post. It got me thinking, Joseph apparently worked for the Speedwagon foundation, and Lucy was researching the Rokakaka. So that might be the reason why Holly (Joseph's daughter) was also researching the Rokakaka: she might have been doing it for the Speedwagon foundation!

Maybe the foundation will have a larger role in part 9?

The only things I really want an answer to are the flash forward and the bite marks (and a resolution to the Holly situation). Personally I never really cared about the flashback man or the "bling baby" because of how briefly these things were mentioned. And so many characters were already brought back that Karera would just be a bonus.

Although I would have liked another arc where Jobin is somehow brought back, but by now I have accepted that this won't happen unfortunately

My theory is that Tooru knows about the spin because Mamezuku's father was a spin user. This could be the reason why Tooru killed him, because he was a threat to him. It would also explain how Mamezuku knows about the spin.

There was one panel where Josuke was grabbed by three arms. Two of them belong to Rai's spirit, but who does the third arm belong to? Another well-known spin user, perhaps?

Edit: On closer inspection, it looks like that arm could belong to Kei.

I can now imagine Tooru being so emotionally defeated after getting rickroll'd that he just gives up and goes home. No recovery from that.

I also think this is most likely their true aim. Alternatively, they could be looking for immortality. As the old body dies off, the younger one searches for a new body to share a soul with. Maybe Tsurugi is a potential candidate?

My man was willing to die for his grandson anyway, and now that ass Jobin has to kill him just because he isn't willing to quit at this point? After everything his dad had done for him too. Norisuke truly deserved better than that.

It is revealed in this chapter that Satoru Akefu took over as Head Doctor a while ago, and assigned rock humans as doctors in Holly's ward. They then started experimenting on her by giving her Rokakaka which caused parts of her body to turn to stone. The rocks in her body circulate until they reach her brain, which causes her to fall into coma for a long time and which resets her memories when she wakes up. This repeats until she eventually will die from the process.

So yes, it's the rock humans that caused her disease apparently. Which makes the Head Doctor a massive piece of shit who deserves everything what's coming to him.
