I think Claudia and Lestat were exactly alike and that's why they had a tough time getting along. Louis was always a pushover with her. She could control him pretty much and his guilt over demanding/begging Lestat to turn her and stealing her mortal life was a hinge she could always turn against him. I don't think either parent was mother or father coded necessarily but Louis was more of the caretaker to Claudia and Lestat was her Predator partner.

Yeah I read about it. I think Elton kinda backed out on the whole thing when it bombed and apparently it's unavailable on streaming or discs. I think it was embarrassing.

I feel the same. Billy Idol and this song in particular were hallmarks of my college years. I loved it when the band covered it and they were all urging Lestat to do it as a warm-up, particularly T.C.

Needs to be rewritten and remounted using the series as a template maybe? But would it have to be recast? Daniel Hart's music is sooo good.

Yes Brutal Love is my absolute favorite. I'd go see that combined with the trial somehow. Of course cast members and showru would have to do a Q and A.

If I would see Sam as Lestat 30 feet high and 60 feet wide I think I would blackout for a second. Then enjoy the show. Great idea but how would they pull it off to make 3 seasons into a one-time experience? Well, that's their problem

Yeah I've seen this theory before. That James is actually Lestat at the auction. But I am doubtful. Since James is still with the Talamasca for the purpose of the show (and there's no David Talbot) I think James is repr them to buy Lestat's artifacts for their archives which are extensive. It would be a real plum for them, especially the bottle of Lestat's blood.

PISSED that they included Twilight in the list. I hate those movies and their diamond-shining vampires playing baseball and going endlessly to high school. Ugh!

Duran has quite a filmography. She played Mme. Defarge in Tale of Two Cities--a pivotal role but she was dressed as the poor wife of a wine merchant who knits a kill list of aristocrats and man's the barricades during the French Revolution.
