But he wasn't talking about them. He was talking very specifically about his father, and then very specifically about Scar.
That's just "I can't be racist, I have black friends". If he makes weird statements about several different wheelchair users, it's 100% no surprise if other wheelchair users get the impression that he has opinions about them as well.

The main criticism of it are that it doesn't address all the things people have been critical about, and that he sugarcoats Bunnybond's stuff as "unsavory and divisive tweets".

A bunch of clips resurfaced in which Skizz made some pretty ableist statements.
He also praised and continued working with his one ex-mod that he let go last year because of blatant racism and transphobia.
When people called him out, he gave a vague non-apology (in the vein of "sorry you're feeling that way"), X defended him. Which brings us to X now retracting his previous defense, apparently.
