This has been me but because I always was trying to account for someone's pickiness and the store didn't have the right brand of tortillas that she wanted or something along those lines

I haven't reset a save because I got a bad reward, but I regret to inform you, we are still playing and learning the exact same game. I may know of more interactions because I replayed a couple turns that saved a run that I hadn't considered before. It will affect me wanting to take certain powers, or I will have more value on taking a gamblers brew because I'm not above resetting on a bad draw and saving it for a different turn or different fight.

Certainly, you can understand that the way we play and take options are different, but, it's the same game. And, while you are better at accepting bad RnG, we're both still learning strategies.

RingerCheckmate

I think it upgrades it. By knowing more outcomes of your runs, you have more experience with strategies you handnt considered before.

RingerCheckmate

It's me! Usually feeding said rat king and graves.

It plays really well into vandals loop of peeking from a different angle every time because she has crazy movement. This is just a huge verticality bump, with cut to the chase you can have some fast rotations, but, it's not going to be as flashy as a slide reload or ping+bonus damage.

Alternatively, has anyone actually been saved by out of dodge?

D1 had a pretty early head start with taken armor in literal lootboxes.

I'm someone that lands in the middle, that D2 definitely went hard into its fantasy and I think it greatly benefited from it in most cases. I loved the Witcher armor collabs, but Darth Vader and storm troopers were a step into not so creative for me. Cool, but, not destiny.

RingerCheckmate

Those do indeed become signs

RingerCheckmate

I'm pretty sure most of the krill were, not a big deal to them

RingerCheckmate

Forsaken was great story, still pretty shit gameplay. It's most memorable moment was a tank mission and it's dreaming city end, IMO.

RingerCheckmate

Best gameplay? D2 campaigns were shit gameplay up until witch queen started the legend campaigns.

A few folks have disarmed engagements with me in solo's by sending out a "yo what's up", one of my favourites was with a recon during lockdown.

RingerCheckmate

One of my favourite interactions with an engineer, "What happened?" "Oh, the machine did exactly what I told it to" "oh I hate when it does that"

RingerCheckmate

How would this work with power herb? Would one charge move be single turned? Or all of them?

RingerCheckmate

I've only won one of the four PvP fights I got into, and I only played for a couple hours, but I made enough progress to feel satisfied. Even when I died, I completed a contract or found enough credits to have made a decent enough of a profit.

RingerCheckmate

One species that's naturally dying out is enslaving another to delay the inevitable. That's the bad ending. It's also some crazy torture to be ritually taking lives from them periodically.

RingerCheckmate

If I said but it keeps you a job would it be too demeaning?

I know there's IT work outside of those kinds of tickets but work is work

RingerCheckmate

Was my elective credit in high school personally

RingerCheckmate

Bro what, how do you come to that conclusion from that clip? How is adding PvE dying on a hill no one wants to climb? Did you miss the part where they're removing ranked until the December update?

Literally everything they're doing proves this sentiment you have wrong. Their comment, about enjoying the sweaty PvP, is because they fucking made halo. While it's competitive landscape hasn't really seen heights for decades, Bungie was active in making THE competitive console shooter.

Stealth is crazy loud in marathon, I just hate that every loot map event just prompts getting shot in the back

RingerCheckmate

I think one shot headshots has a "who saw who first" problem that rewards ambushed gunfights with no room to fight back. Purple/blue shields should give you time to turn an ambushed engagement into something fightable. There's enough ability and stat investment that can make high tier players just equally at risk of losing their gear as a free kit.

A triage boosting his green punch can absolutely threaten a purple shield and bully user, and a crouching tiger assassin can easily ambush and shank his way to a purple kit.

I think one shot headshot games that are actually built for it, work pretty well. I don't like getting shot by someone I can't see and could never know where they came from, but, it plays in my favor enough as well when I catch someone off guard that I can understand it's place.

In a game like marathon though? With grapples, taser hands, and trophy systems, I don't think instakill headshots appropriate for the game. Especially not with the ammo system being built as it is. I absolutely despised tarkovs armor and pen system, and that system is in support of one shot headshots as something that can protect you from instakills.

RingerCheckmate

This is what I think needs to be highlighted specifically. I personally will play niche games that are super fun, but when a company is as big as Bungie is, you have to make something that will make more money. Someone like Bungie can't afford to be relying on being niche.

The dead space remakes suits were overall substantially more in universe and matching the setting than what halo studio's tried to do.

The difference in what skins can accomplish in a first person and third person game is that suits are more visible in third person, while not so much in first person. But it's still important that they, fit the game for when you do go third person in a warthog on Silent cartographer

RingerCheckmate

I threw a trap pack next to a car by bio research, and got a knock while I was looting the supply drop nearby. I found a mercy kit in there and shouted at the guy to hang on. Mercy'd the nucaloric skinned sentinel, and I think he extracted later

RingerCheckmate

Dude I been living this at 27 right now. Most people assume I'm like 19, early 20's, and am treated like a teen. Like y'all, I have a 5 year old

RingerCheckmate

I'm probably about to buy some lux for a vandal skin when I get home
