Now I wanna know how much it differs game by game lol. My most expensive t1 in bandori was around $1100 including pulling, but the most I spent on pure boost refills was $900 for a t3.

I guess Holodori attracts more of the casual crowd so the higher tiers are not that competitive? My main gripe is just the 2 issues of pulling being mandatory for tiering high, and zero progression / value from past event cards.

But yeah with your experience I might just save until 2 sparks and go in for an event that I like in the future.

My point is mostly on the case of trying to make one's mark on the game with t10+, which would require both money (event card & boost refills), time and effort. Since the game does not give you any rewards from past events to accumulate and plan besides gem, you have no other choice to whale for optimal. I had hoped that tiering in this game wouldn't be that bad, but I guess it's not the case.

Yeah agreed, if you are lucky to build a solid base of your gallery, ranks like Platinum and Gold should be doable every time. But I should be more clear, for me tiering and being competitive is t10+, which is impossible without scouting the banner cards with the current setup.

Maybe this puts me in a very small / specific subset, but I just don't like how events don't give anything to build for the future, and I cannot accumulate anything but gems to try and pull and tier for a future event.

Never got into other games besides Bandori, which is why I'm interested in hearing about other games and their tiering system. If you have some time I'd love to hear how bad is it for pjsk.

I'm not forgetting about live boosts, believe me. In Bandori there is an event called VS Live which has live boosts as one of its rewards and it consistently was the favorite event for the high tierers because of the resources you can recoup back.

For your other point of knowing the events and banners beforehand with the lagging of global vs JP, I agree somewhat. Information are only good if the dolphins can make use of the resources that they have to prepare in advance, which right now is only flame boosts. If I know I cannot use any of my cards in the gallery to create a team that's competitive with optimal / whales, it really does not matter because not matter what event it is, you have to pull for all the banner cards anyway.

On the sell something new part, I just want the gap of event bonuses smaller between the tiers & the cards to be usable in tiering terms. Like if pulling for all cards is optimal, then having a full 5 stars team of all the event characters should give you in the 15-20% range of deficit so you actually have a chance to tier high (t100, t10+).

Finally about "character attachment", yes I agree that people will pull / spend for their oshi cards. But if you want to show your devotion by tiering high for their events? Right now you have to spend A LOT to pull for others to be competitive, which kills this specific subset of players like me, imo.

Come early if you want to line up for merch. During concert just follow the others in your zone, if they are standin up and cheering / singing along, you can do the same. If not, then can cheer with your own way while being polite to others. Participate in tuki.'s call and response for certain songs (Hyururirapappa, Moon Landing Plan, etc). Don't use your phone for images / videos unless explicitly allowed by tuki., which should be shown on screen. Can refer to my report if you want more info. Have fun!

Well not exactly based on the calculation

2 flames + 0 flame = Base event point * Base song length bonus * 1.2 * (16 + 1) = 20.4 (Base event point * Base song length bonus)

1 flame x 2 = Base event point * Base song length bonus * 1.3 (16) = 20.8 (Base event point * Base song length bonus)

So strictly speaking for the time you spend, 1 flame x 2 is still a bit superior, even though it's negligible. The more base event point you have, the more significant the difference is. The shorter the event songs are, the more insignificant the difference is.

There is another hidden mechanic with flame boost - song length bonus. This affects event points so technically if time is all you have, do 1x flame for maximum rewards.

0x = 4x+ (base song length bonus) < 2-3x flames (+20% or 1.2x) < 1x (+30% or 1.3x)

As a once event score very high-tiering Bandori player, agreed. Blooming system was already an alarm to me, but if this is true it will be very hard for f2p / budget gamers to tier.
