It's also that the firing range of the high tier ships turns each match into pure kiting from sniper ranges. The lower tiers actually allow for gameplay in the shotgun range. Tends to make for faster and more interesting matches.

You couldn't in the first campaign, but the individual levels let you use two guns.

Awesome! Thanks

I have that one and it sounds good, but I had to start plugging it in whenever I wanted to use it instead of just leaving it plugged into the computer all the time, because sometime throughout the night my computer would randomly decide that it didn't want to recognize the mic anymore (USB).

As a heavy user of wireless Virtual Desktop, if you use a 5GHz router, or a wifi 6 router, it's rare to run into stuttering issues as a result of being wireless. Try to keep the router in the same room as your headset, with minimal other network activity.
Until you experience it, it's hard to appreciate how much better the headset feels without wires hanging off. Being able to turn around and not think about it, not having to make sure you don't step on your cord when playing an active game.
One thing I do recommend, whether you go wireless or not, is to get yourself some sort of counterweight. Where I use it almost exclusively on wireless, I attached a battery pack (originally for my phone) to the back of the headset, and it feels much more comfortable. It weighs about 300g, where the headset weights 500g.

Two planets...around 80? I think each planet could hold around 40 collectors.

I went looking for them because I was forever short on deuterium, and found two within 6LR of my starting system. I don't have any supply issues at the scale I use it now, but I only have maybe a dozen factories making gravity lenses, and I finally got my power generation off deut rods.
...I guess I didn't realize deut gas giants were that rare.

So at what point is it better to start doing this, instead of putting down orbital collectors? Is it simply in the interest of a more localized logistics system?
Riveted321
I actually read that book a couple years ago. I can see how this one was recommended based off of it. They both tackle human issues from really interesting perspectives.
Riveted321
So, I just finished the second book and I would recommend reading it. First book is still "take it or leave it"
Riveted321
I really hope they add this mod into the game soon. For now, it should be a required download for anyone even thinking about building factories like this.

Ever looked into how many different ways there are to watch the Marvel Universe? It's crazy.
Books I usually do in publication order. I enjoy the various easter eggs put into prequals.

The first book is about the history of the trisolarans, and how humans came in contact with them. The first half was a really hard read because it follows the cultural revolution in China, and it's effect on the main character Ye Wenjie, but the second half really picks up, and I enjoyed it enough to start the next book.
Book two is almost entirely about the wallfacer project, and the effect that an impending alien invasion has on the populace over hundreds of years. To me it is a much more interesting/entertaining read.

I'm actually working my way through the second book right now. I can't imagine jumping into the series on book 3. Such an enormous amount of context would be missing.

All you can really do is to write down the lat/long of each production area (in the bottom left of your screen). Hopefully the devs or a mod comes along soon that lets you set map markers.

You can stack splitters too!

It also helps that Elon Musk isn't known to give up when things get hard.
u/TerriersAreAdorable isn't wrong. Google has acquired a reputation of giving up on their products. So far, Elon has not.

I had the same thought when I tried SR. Felt like more of a workout on BS and Pistol Whip.

You made things a bit more complicated than they needed to be. The biggest reason he became a meme recently is because everyone else attending the inauguration was dressed to look their absolute best, while he was dressed for the weather; heavy winter coat and mittens that looked completely out of place compared to everyone else. On top of that was his posture of just patiently waiting for the event to be over with, and here we are.

"Mature" maybe. Games that tackle subjects that non-adults wouldn't fully appreciate. It's kind of the same thing as trying to find anime that tackles those subjects. They exist, but are really rare, because the market isn't targeted that way. Legend of the Galactic Heroes is one of my favorites in that area, but it practically stands alone in it's subject matter. I suppose Take Me To The Moon is one of the standouts in terms of gaming, but I'm going back quite a few years on that one.
I do think that we will see a small uptick in the number of these games going forward though, because there are a lot more "adult" gamers than there used to be.

In the 2020 election, the state went 69% Trump (with all 55 counties going red), 70% Republican for its Senate race (again, all red), and all three House representatives are Republican. That Manchin was even elected as a Democrat is a miracle.

Google Spotlight Stories are short VR movies that I thought were done rather well. They put you right into the middle of everything.

The room it's in was turned into a computer lab at least 5 years ago. I was there switching out old computers for new ones. With schools going 1 to 1 on laptops, I don't see very many school libraries that are still in use as a library. I'm honestly surprised that they still use it as a lab.

That's precisely the feeling I got when I saw it.
Full cast of voice actors and sound effects. Their tagline is "A Movie in Your Mind."
