There are already many options for that. Ex. Sunshine/Apollo + Moonlight

Kettlebells are just amazing. They really hit all the muscles in a short amount of time. Makes my body feel indestructible.

r/kettlebell for anyone looking to try.

Roarmaster

I installed ubuntu server on my old MacBook pro and it has been amazing. Just limit the charge or remove the battery.

Roarmaster

Ah, right. If it helps, my setup is an old MacBook pro running Ubuntu server via tailscale. The wifi connection was too slow for immich's remote video streaming (100Mbit/s max).

I have a 1Gbit/s up/down internet so connecting it to Ethernet solved the issue for me. All immich settings on default.

My nextcloud instance though, never had any issues.

Edit; transcode settings: - transcode if not supported format - transcode everything except h.264

Roarmaster

I had the same problem until I connected my server with Ethernet. When it was running via wifi, it wasn't streaming fast enough for some reason.

Awesome, thank you. Just for further clarification, in prowlarr/jacket, you can search for:
- 유 퀴즈 온 더 블럭.E361.260923.720p-NEXT and it will show up but it doesn't show up in sonarr.
- Eng title is You Quiz on the block.

What sonarr does is it searches the english title/TVDB ID on the non-english website, leading to no results.

Custom regex filters for searches would definitely work.

Roarmaster

Support for torrent titles in Korean/Chinese/Japanese would be great. (Ex. The Korean Jackett sources.)

Sonarr/radarr only really searches tv show formats in English on TVDB.

Roarmaster

Right wireguard is great too 😂. I just can't be bothered to set it up. Maybe one day.

Roarmaster

If you have a server or an old laptop or a small device like a raspberry pi or an old phone, you can install adguard home + tailscale on that. Then you can install tailscale on all the devices that you want to connect to each other and route all dns requests on tailscale through your adguard home server. It shouldn't really matter what settings your router is configured with in this case, i think. It should ignore your router dns settings.

Devicices using tailscale --> Adguard home server (global dns override) --> Whatever upstream dns server you set in adguard home

But I'm no expert, just a hobbyist. So make sure to do some research.

Roarmaster

yes I did. as long as you set up your firewall rules properly (with ufw or firewalld) and deny all incoming connections from other sources you should be good. Or you can always build it from source yourself from the repo: https://git.unom.io/unom/punktfunk/

I also route all of my traffic through my adguard home server and there aren't any random suspicious connections after installation or anything like that. If you're a coder, you can check the code for yourself. Or you can ask the dev on his discord about it.

Roarmaster

True, but I tried all the options and it's the one with the least amount of lag and interruptions on wifi. And when I stream via ethernet, it's seamless. Honestly pretty impressed already.

Roarmaster

r/punktfunk has worked the best for me

Surprisingly, obtanium is smart enough to auto update the android client from the link in the docs.

I installed it on sep 9 for Android and obtanium auto updated it sep 12 to the latest version.

Roarmaster

You can auto update it with obtanium.

Roarmaster

For the 1TB option. The 5TB option is 10.90€ monthly. There are higher tier options as well.

Roarmaster

I use this as well. It's 3.20 €/month and you can push and pull whatever data you want instantly and with unlimited traffic.

Also supports ssh and Borg backup/restic.

Roarmaster

Thanks.

I'm just curious if it was possible or not. I like the virtual display feature a lot better than switching between mirrored monitors from the host PC anyways.

It's much more useful, especially when accessing the host PC remotely.

r/BaseballQueen has the episodes

True for most Linux distributions, but for casual users, there always Ubuntu, mint, and bazzite for gaming.

Roarmaster

nice, that's a lot of space to work with.

- Once you're all set up, make sure snapper backup is good to go (for rolling back to a previous system update)
- install vorta for file backups to external drive

congrats, and enjoy.
