This cuts both ways. You can't leave on weekends, but for days at a time you're drawing a salary to walk around the property and make sure nothing's broken and then do whatever you want the rest of the day.

You could host some pretty epic parties with an entire resort to yourself.
Obviously you'd have to prove trustworthy enough for them to let you... or just not care about potentially getting fired (which if you're considering turning down the job anyway? meh...)

Is he a day trader? Most people, even professional investors, do not need to track the markets that closely 24/7.

Unfortunately personalized mental health care and rehabilitation is crazy expensive. Even more-so if you have to deal with drug addiction on top. And that's for those who actually want help, many do not.
There is literally no easy answer here, but the best thing we can do is promote mental health awareness and try to take care of people before they start committing crimes rather than after.

You should also tell the customers why you had to remake their food. If they know that it wasn't even your fault and you still comped their food that can easily turn them into a loyal customer.

The amount of people I see in front of me mindlessly hit that 20% tip button for someone literally opening their beer and handing it to them... man. I know that job doesn't pay very well but at some point that is not my problem.

I'm mostly retired from hard alcohol these days, and a flask of beer isn't gonna hold much.
But for those insane prices I will bring in liquor and deal with the consequences the next morning.

"We were never taught that in school" is such a shit excuse in the internet age anyway.
Literally any topic you could possibly want to know about is a google search or a youtube video away.
The #1 thing schools should be teaching is how to properly search for something on the internet and filter it down to useful and accurate information.
If you can't figure out how to do your taxes as a W2 employee with the services that will literally walk you through the entire process for free... good luck out there.

If I don't think something is life threatening or every second counts I'm 100% taking an uber to the hospital.
I've had 2 ambulance rides before. One was a broken collar-bone and the other was a dislocated shoulder. Both times I was playing sports and someone else called 911 on my behalf. Neither were necessary. Both were expensive.

Fucked up teeth and weight issues for life? I am guessing there's more going on than milk here...

handyman work is people paying you for the shit they could do themselves but don't want to because it's a pain in the ass (or neck, or back, or knees). 40 hours a week of handyman work is not sustainable long term unless you start taking only very specific jobs - and good luck filling a schedule with those.

I call total bullshit that you can't find a single taker to mow your lawn at $75/hr. Kid or otherwise. Unless you live in a gated community of multi-million dollar homes.

"raised his two daughters himself" is very misleading if not an outright lie.
It's incredibly impressive either way, no need to sensationalize it to the point of nonsense.

$28.50 today is the equivalent of $14 in 1998. Google says average concert tall boy beer prices in 1998 were $5.50-$7.00.
Alcohol at events has always been expensive, but prices have outpaced normal inflation by a lot.

A joke that is essentially that absolutely could be funny - if you have the right words and delivery. He just kinda botched both.
So many of the best jokes in comedy will sound unfunny and offensive if you just paraphrase them through text.

Now my girlfriend is freezing me out, crying, and saying that if I really loved her I should of offered to share the house already.
The family is not the main issue here... my wife's family kind of (really) sucks, but she mostly just ignores them when it comes to anything that should be just between us.
This woman is either too emotionally/mentally weak to stand up to her family - or she agrees with them and is using them as an excuse to be ridiculous.
Either way, I don't see this resolving very well, but good luck OP and if your answer is anything but a hard no then you're gonna have a bad time.

Some laws to protect tenants are necessary. Laws allowing people to squat indefinitely in a home they are paying no rent and have no right to live in is not necessary.
It's not all or nothing, we could write better laws.

Not all reality TV is created equal. I believe this guy is actually legitimately helping families and getting rid of squatters. Whether he makes money from the client or the TV show is kind of irrelevant to whether it's real or not.
If it turns out the squatters are actors and this is all fake, then your comment would be correct. But the show has been on long enough that I don't think that's the case or someone would have ratted them out by now.

Even with weapons by my side, I don't see how I would get any sleep knowing most likely a drug addict and/or crazy person who hates me is living in the same space.

Yeah I want ownership to spend as much as anyone else but this narrative that our budget is the main thing holding us back is so dumb.

The extent some people will go to keep their unpaid volunteer title and what little power it gives them will never cease to amaze me.

NO deductions is obviously wrong. But all that stuff is a very tiny amount of deductions relative to their income. Even the mortgage on a $10 million house is still "only" ~$500k/year, of which only the interest is deductible.
I'd say they are allowed no deductions is effectively closer to true than saying they're only paying so much in taxes on their salaried income because they don't know all the tricks of the wealthy.

Mid-season? No.
For this season he'll compete with Bradford for snaps (and one of them will be a high quality backup) and then you can re-evaluate changing his position in the off-season depending on how everything went.
Obviously injuries can always change plans in a hurry, so seeing him at C at some point even this year isn't out of the question.

Some games deal with cheaters a lot better than others. Asking for this game to be above average in that regard instead of below average is not an unreasonable request for a game that has made over $300 million in revenue.
Every Cartman will eventually become a Randy... or something.
