Again. See my previous point about that being directed at media because the study is initial and the technology is new. It’s to avoid research bias as they continue the study and doesn’t support your argument 🤦‍♂️

Rodrisco102389

Not seeing the implications of this elsewhere 🤦‍♂️

Rodrisco102389

No, the conclusion is clear. It’s right there. Read it again outside of the context of the FAQ directed primarily at media which you’ve hinged your argument on because that’s irrelevant to the study’s conclusion but you keep using that to support your viewpoint. Lower cognitive output, understanding, and information retention in LLM users. That’s what we call dumber. If you can’t draw a parallel between the example of an essay used in this study to other real world situations like a job that isn’t physical labor or hobby that isn’t trolling anti ai subreddits, then I’m not going to waste more time here.

Rodrisco102389

The study clearly implies lower brain engagement and output associated with LLM usage while performing a task requiring higher cognition, research, or critical thinking. Don’t pivot your argument. Most common folk, despite the researcher’s disclaimer, would consider this as dumber. The researchers are only saying not to use this language, especially by media reporting on this study, because the study itself is initial and they don’t yet draw that conclusion fully 🤷‍♂️

Rodrisco102389

Right… see my previous point. They say this because the study is preliminary and the adoption of LLM usage is early on. Their study doesn’t use this language, so they’re asking people and especially media not to not use it because it’s not conclusive, but it DOES imply this.

Rodrisco102389

Found the LLM nitwit, folks. This study is about you if this is all you took out of it.

Rodrisco102389

Their point in that statement is the language being used to describe LLM usage and adoption. Not discrediting what their own study supports, that LLM users score lower in their study in all metrics. Read it all or don’t post it.

Rodrisco102389

Did you read what you shared completely? I think not because this is what they are implying.

“The use of LLM had a measurable impact on our participants, and while the benefits were initially apparent, as we demonstrated over the course of 4 sessions, which took place over 4 months, the LLM group's participants performed worse than their counterparts in the Brain-only group at all levels: neural, linguistic, scoring.”

What the researchers ARE saying, the only part of this you seemed to have read, is that some of the language used to describe this observation, especially when coming from media, such as brainrot etc, is dangerous because we don’t fully understand the implications and relationships between LLMs and education as it is so new.

You’re bound to the terms you agreed to. I don’t know why you’d think otherwise or why you’d leave a clearly stated non-refundable deposit if you weren’t sure about moving forward.

If there was space available below where the tv currently is this would be an easy fix. Too bad there’s no other options because of that fireplace….

Rodrisco102389

NAL - you are obligated to pay the full amount in the bill of sale. You’ve not done that so you owe them the balance of the amount you agreed to pay. They’re not holding anything hostage, they’re waiting for you to fulfill your half of the contract.

Rodrisco102389

Ok. Happy you could do that for yourself I guess.

Rodrisco102389

Good question for your local body shop. Reddit is bad at this game.

Rodrisco102389

I won’t eat it. It’s fluffy, full of gums, and generally lacking mixins. It’s just not good ice cream to me.

Yes downvote me for my opinion folks lol yall are silly

Rodrisco102389

What if they just program new keys without an issue because they know how to do this?

Rodrisco102389

Florida is crazy when it comes to doc fees lol

Rodrisco102389

Using the correct fuel did not cause any issues. There’s a chance you got bad gas I guess, but more likely there’s another issue with the car. Did you get it checked out before you purchased it?

Rodrisco102389

Great question for a body shop in your area, not Reddit. Reddit is bad at this game.

Rodrisco102389

Bugs are not a manufacturer defect so no they’re not covered under warranty lol

Rodrisco102389

That’s why new cars come with warranties. Shit happens, they’ll fix it or waste enough time it should be eligible for lemon law. Just keep record of the paperwork and time spent in shop for now, and let them work on fixing it.
