You know sabertooth started off as an Iron Fist villain in the comics, yet he mostly appears to fight Wolverine, never even showing up in either season of Iron Fist.

Same thing as Kingpin starting as a Spider-Man villain. He’s now one of Daredevil’s most famous antagonists.

See, I can see their influence on the movie. A lot of prequels are like “where did this character get this thing?” and make it an integral part of the story. Lord and Miller made it a joke. Ron Howard wasn’t in on the joke and played it all straight.

Also the last name Solo has to be the worst thing during any added to the canon.
