Best place to see them is usually right at the start as they mill around to do pre-race warmups, sign ons etc. They'll still be going 20-30mph so it's still a blink and you'll miss your favourite rider kind of affair.
That's why many think a circuit race or time-trial in the city would be better, but you have to close the roads for much longer so it's much harder for a city to do.
RookLive
It's processional until they get out of the city. Basically going through a city you're more likely to have accidents due to all the roadside furniture so starts are often a formation ride until you're out of the city and on open roads and you actually start racing.

They've shown that people can reliably detect single photons better than chance.

It's not that it's hard to detect a single photon, it's just a case of how noiseless do you need your detectors to be.

Another example is that ridiculous game played with mobile phones as controllers made by Mike Morhaime.
Sunderfolk? Aww, that's a really good game. It's just most people don't have enough friends for a simple couch co-op RPG.

I disagree about this one. Rylan is shown to be a terrible scientist. He sucks at pipetting. He has no sense for containment. He's always doing super lazy stuff, or just setting things up really janky. He's exactly the kinda person that would load a centrifuge badly when you can get away with it.

"I know you gentlemen have been through a lot, but when you find the time, I'd rather not spend the rest of this winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!"
I just love this scene.

Hi, sorry forgot to do this last night:
Front means the big number on the front, and back means the hidden contents of the card.

Minor spoiler but 22 isn't necessary for Sherlock.

I really like this, but it is a very quick game. So I use it as a starter.

You're thinking of Radar. This is about the Hall of Fame punter for the Oakland Raiders.

I take my lights off too if that helps :)
Actual bike thefts in Edinburgh tend to not be from out in public, but in stairwells of tenements and bike storage areas. But easily accessible things definitely get swiped from then.

Arthur's seat is closed to traffic during the weekends so it's not a bad place to just get used to riding on an empty road. There's also voi bikes around that you can hire.

Ukraine war started in 2022?

There's difficulty levels, on normal you can take two hits and a third kills you, the enemies are quite passive and you can cheese them if you want to. On nightmare you can take one hit, the enemies are more resistant to stunning and more aggressive.
It's still not what I would call hard though, and given that there's archers etc I think having tougher combat gauntlet's with cheap deaths would make the game worse not better. I don't think combat is meant to be a barrier to the story, this isn't Dark Souls.

Completely the opposite but reminds me of this comic:

I thought this was just Immurement - punishment/death sentence by confinment or feeding them to the minotaur.

Yes, although equally I'd say Requiem is a lot like the Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy as well.
RookLive
It's different, I really liked it. It's more of an action adventure mixed with a plague tale story telling. The gameplay has exploring, easy puzzles, stealth and simple combat where you feel more in control rather than just surviving in the worst possible ways. It's not a happy story, but it's not soul crushing like Requiem was.
RookLive
isthereanydeal.com has it at discount from the full steam price if you go through one of the linked sellers on them. (they only linked to authorised retailers).

Mortismal has a review and he basically doesn't like any of it. And I can understand that as he's someone that loves deep game mechanics wheras Resonance's is quite simple in my mind. He also didn't like the story and the reimaging of the central myth.
Skill Up has totally the opposite take, he loves the story and art and appreciates the gameplay serves it's purpose in pushing everything forward without bogging down.
I like having people with their own opinions just be honest in what they think, a diversity of opinion is great. I'm just totally on the side of Skill Up here. I loved this game a lot more than I thought I would and for me feels very cathartic after Requiem.
RookLive
I really liked it. It's different, Resonance doesn't have the misery of Requiem. It's not a happy story by any stretch but I found it a lot more 'enjoyable' as a play through, I liked spending time in that world a lot more. Going on an adventure to uncover the secrets behind a mysterious island and a greek tragedy is just a lot more 'fun' than being trauma dumped through the most horrific events someone can imagine.
Also, It does touch on Requiem's story, and adds on to it's ending in a way I found very cathartic. I'm still angry over the story in Requiem but this game helps.

The combat/levelling up in Rogue Trader is one of the worst combinations I've ever seen in an RPG.

I don't get this complaint either, unless it means something for the framebuilding side. There was a frame recently where the seatpost was too thin for the shimano seatpost battery so that could be it.
Personally I dislike external batteries as I feel they're too easy to steal when you're parked up - my commuter/run around bike has SRAM and it's just mildy inconvenient to take that batteries out every time I'm at the gym etc.
Pretty similar, also missing a roof in Jan 25. However, we did have very different outcomes. Some people's insurance covered nothing (variety of reasons such as not having a recent roof survery, or not having the correct insurance). Some of them covered part of the costs (mine just did part of the costs, but I didn't want to argue in case they realised we hadn't had a recent roof survey), and some of them covered everything without question.
Basically our timeline was to contact the insurers to let them know what had happened and the likely costs (treated differently if it was under or over 5k). Get emergency repairs done. Get 3 quotes for the roof repairs that are itemised. Loss adjusters sent out to assess damage (take as many pictures as possible and get workers to take pictures of their repairs too). Loss adjusters agree what will and won't be covered by insurance - e.g. some of our quotes had replacement guttering, but the loss adjusters thought that the repairs to the guttering where just wear and tear rather than storm damage so shouldn't be covered etc.
