I don't know the model of your phone but I have a external display and a old S10+ and a S20FE.

On the S20FE it works right off the bat, but while trying to use the S10+ I need to plug my monitor second usb c port on the screen into a brick charger so it works (also keeps the phone charged, the usb of the screen has this pass-through).

My guess is the S10+ is not able to give enough power to an external device and make dex mode work at the same time.

Let's be real here, Kunos is good at making simulators but they are not good at making games, period. Every single game they make feels experimental, simplistic holding onto the modding scene and hope.

AC is also not a good game, but a good simulator.

I don't have much free time so I have a love and hate relationship with modding, every now and then an update (windows, software, CM...), monitor disconnection or whatever breaks the mods and I just give up on playing.

Getting a mate to do hotlaps on a casual day? Just hope for the best that it will all work and still reads your configs weeks later from not playing.

We really are in need of something that can do it all and be just simple, with modding being an extra and not the main thing.

Oh, that's very interesting. Would that work by any chance on galaxy devices as well, so I can dust off my good old Gear VR?

Shoutout to OP who have taken 16 photos of the same car and managing to look like it could have been on a magazine, they just look as amazing as the car itself.

So it's a very specific case scenario, in no other place or review you gonna see someone speaking poorly of the Pico 4 Mic quality.

And since you like to sing, an external mic would be the ideal anyway, but I bet you can just use third party software to adjust sensibility and other few things.

Now about the delay checkout your connection, it's not normal behavior.

Rotary26B

Never had those issues frankly. Also about other noises, why do you even want that? That's exactly whats noise suppression is about, but if you make anything loud enough it will be picked up by the mic.

Or else you might just be with a bad unit/bad update. Just played online with all the options cited before and unless I'm speaking too low I get my voice cut, apart from that is all fine.

Rotary26B

Never had serious problems with my microphone, they are all cristal clear, sometimes cleaning also helps with the cutting voice. Pico connect, steam link, or virtual desktop. They all work just fine.

Automobilista 2 AI is pretty nice, but never had an enjoyable time with AC tho, which is the one I've played the most, so I did swtich to drifting on that one.

Rotary26B

Thats awesome! Please consider also adding a 3rd person mod, I would love to try out in 3rd person first before a more immersive heart attacking gameplay, is a good comfort way to play first. Wish more VR games had both options.

Rotary26B

Say what you want about tubular rigs but they are the best looking one's around! Congrats brother, enjoy your journey!

Rotary26B

I have mine for 3 years now, still fail to see a more comfortable out of the box experience and simpler way to play, mainly if all you do is PCVR or just wanna mess around with other apks, there's no much barriers there.

You actually do something similar like a overlapping on a bumpy straight or before a jump in some cases to correct course (video for reference). But I'm not trying to deny that he's exaggerating footwork, but these techniques have some uses. Hell, I've seen people do reverse heal toe irl racing (toe on brake), if it works for him who am I lol

As someone who drifted a lot, brake stabs are used to make the car unstable and throw it into rotation. Pretty much used with FWD cars in rallies as well. It can work with being more gentle but if it works for you...Senna also blipped the throttle a lot and at first seemed unnecessary, but it worked pretty well for him.

Rotary26B

Beautiful car but that panel gap hurts like hell to look at it.

Rotary26B

That sad story sounds too fishy, almost like a stolen device.

Rotary26B

I do the same with my Pico 4, just got those frames without lenses as extra precaution just to make sure the curvature of the glasses didn't touch the lenses by accident.

Rotary26B

Have you tried forza emuwheel?

Rotary26B

Exactly, the game feels like you're an american tourist meeting other american tourist or american people living in japan instead of japanese people and their car culture, tuning shops and what more. It's more of a representation of the american eye on another country than anything else, could say that about previous games as well but here is very apparent.

For the time they weren't that small but probably just about sports cars size, these vehicles (especially trucks) that have gotten unnecessary big with time.

Rotary26B

I think he actually was talking about NFS II and not Hot Pursuit 2.

My VR headset is my closest friend, we even sweat together and die together (no battery, no session).

Rotary26B

You said add light? slaps two big ass projectors headlights

Rotary26B

How am I still paying a shit ton of money and not shitting on a carbon fiber toilet bowl? That's absurd. /s

Rotary26B

It's good to see how they mostly kept the wedge throughout the years.

Rotary26B

Just get a regular Pico 4 or Ultra, use steam VR, be happy.
