It can be shown with sources that Benioff & Weiss had already finalized their plans for the last season of Game of Thrones BEFORE they made their Star Wars deal. This completely contradicts the fake news spread by thousands of Redditors. (self.gameofthrones)

The Swedish Millennium miniseries. They took the three Girl with a Dragon Tattoo films and extended them by a lot to make a 6 episode miniseries and it is riveting from start to end, with some of the most powerful scenes I've ever seen on TV.

G'day James, you would have been nine years old when the first Star Wars film hit cinemas. The perfect age for it.

What was it like to then be be working as the First Assistant Director on a Star Wars prequel in your home town two decades later? Was it like a childhood dream come true?

I'm on old.reddit, where there's 12. There appears to be a bug between old.reddit and new.reddit tables:

I will fix it.

Edit: fixed. I replaced the blank space on two lines with:

Note that Brian was inspired by the 12-track U.S. version of Rubber Soul, which had a slightly different tracklist to the standard 14-track UK version:

I compiled a complete list of every known photo or video of Donald Trump with either Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell. There's 38 so far:

I've seen so many headlines over the years from science publications about "possible signs of alien life detected" that turned out to be nothing-burgers.

I've been burnt too many times, so I barely even notice those headlines anymore.

Wake me up when we get solid confirmation.

It seems like One Nation is using the Trump technique of "Create outlandish controversy to dominate the news cycle."

Maybe we should ignore them.

McKechnie is the prisoner. He is the one citing the case of the failed Vegemite attempt. He was probably not making the point you are claiming.

The characaterization of SPEW was also pretty bad.

I got you, fam.

The Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare (S.P.E.W.) was an organisation founded in 1994 by Hermione Granger in response to what she saw as gross injustice in the treatment of house-elves at the 1994 Quidditch World Cup.

One counter-example (through remakes) is the 2016 dark-comedy Perfect Strangers (Perfetti sconosciuti):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perfect_Strangers_(2016_film)

It has had an extraordinary number of remakes around the world: 31 remakes by my count. And in only 10 years. That's astounding. Unprecedented in the history of cinema. (Though it's still waiting for an English-language version.)

It does have a very entertaining premise:

Friends at a dinner party play a game. They will each place their phone on the table and they will share any messages or calls they get with the rest of the group. Secrets are unveiled.

The article addresses that:

For context, the r/opensource debate does not mean Linux has been banned. Moderator Wolvereness said the kernel would satisfy the project's minimum requirements and suggested that whether a project was obviously AI-generated would be a subjective decision.

Or they are there in the early parts because he couldn't think of more story yet, so he wrote travelogue and description instead. He was spinning his wheels.

And then later on when he should have gone back and edited those early parts down, he couldn't kill his darlings.

Find Mark Frost interviews. He doesn't reveal everything, but he gives lots of clues and explanations of different scenes.

Particularly useful is the book "Conversations with Mark Frost: Twin Peaks, Hill Street Blues, and the Education of a Writer" by David Bushman. Frost is very candid in that.

There's 16:9 (aka 1.78:1) open matte versions floating around that include extra image material at the top and bottom of the picture and less image on the left and right (the standard version is 2.39:1).

They might be more suitable for 4:3 cropping.

Here's a comparison:
