Hi New Yorker here, have been to Japan twice, recently returned actually. You come across as really annoying in this post. Have you considered listening and observing rather than making yourself the center of attention..?

You are entitled to run the women's races. Men are used to being entitled to everything which is why there are plenty of men who will be out on both those days racing. I won't mince words I think men who do that are complete d*cks. But NYRR isn't blocking men who sign up and they don't check genitalia on the starting line. I must also say given everything that is happening in the US right now this question comes off as completely oblivious! Equal rights and equity are actively being eroded right now for multiple marginalized groups and here you are writing about the "fairness" of 2 little races for women....
