Nah now its "you are resisting" and they forcefully confine and restrain you no matter what you say.
Oh, no.
I see the mistake your making here.
I'm a middle aged white guy.
So no.
RupeThereItIs
Not really, no.
Microsoft are a software company that sell hardware, that's why windows can be installed on almost anything, not just a surface.
Google are an advertising company that make software & sell hardware. Which, again, is why Android is installed on like everything.
Apple are a luxury brand of personal tech hardware, the software is integral to the hardware & part of the brand, but it only exists to sell & lock you into the hardware... and no other hardware manufacturer can use that software, because it's the hardware they exist to sell.
Apple DID at one point license MacOS to clones, and they DID at one point make datacenter server hardware. In both cases they deemed doing so a mistake & fled the market, back to being a personal tech hardware company.
They don't really do "cloud" in any meaningful way, except that which augments their hardware brand & it's sales.

Because too many people have guns....

50/50 he even gets into the Senate if you're looking at the polls.
RupeThereItIs
I mean, you could buy all these things at those prices.
If you still had a job after the economic apocalypse.
RupeThereItIs
Oddly, no.
They are about software, with hardware to support 'em.
If you don't have software in need of datacenter hardware, you don't build datacenters.
They are insanely expensive to build & operate, it's why IaaS is so big (a business Apple isn't in btw), so you better have software that needs them.
RupeThereItIs
Well, they DID try to build a car for a while there.
RupeThereItIs
Apple are a luxury computer & phone manufacturer.
Why on earth would they ever need large datacenters?
What does Apple have to do with AI at all?
This is some Chewbaca defense type logic OP.

I've lived in my home for 18 years, the first decade plus I had like ONE power outage of note, lasting more then a couple hours.
Last 5-6 years has been a different story, to the point my wife forced me to buy a generator & I've installed a generator inlet/manual switch.
I'd LOVE the ability to use my car as a backup power source, and I don't know why this isn't obvious to most homeowners as a bonus feature of such a car.
Like generators:
Some people will want the fully automagical self starting, self transferring solution & they will pay for that.
Some people just want the ABILITY to manually hook it up in the rare instance when it's necessary.
And it usually comes down to a cost/benefit analysis, because there's a HUGE cost difference between the options.
RupeThereItIs
You have to realize you're operating in a niche here. Most people want to buy an appliance they don't want to think about too much.
Agree to disagree.
Most people don't want either option.
Most people live where power is reliable.
RupeThereItIs
Yeah, the image in OP's post makes me want to wait for 2026.11.1 at a minimum.
RupeThereItIs
You would need 2 plugs if you were using a generator inlet, one to charge, and one for generator.
THATS PERFECT, yes, thank you!
If I WANT automatic failover, then I can pay for that, but if I just want the ABILITY to use the battery as a home backup for a prolonged outage, I'm fine with a manual transfer switch in the breaker box.
Besides, most homes don't even have generator inlets
I just installed one, WAY CHEAPER then an automatic transfer switch & sub panel. My region has TERRIBLE service these days. To the point it comes up in the US Senate race LOTS of generators around here.
You really want an actual V2G solution here
Not if we're talking a few hundred bucks vs. a few thousand, no I do not. ESPECIALLY if I have to buy a bidirectional charger that ONLY works with one brand of car.
Honestly I have NO INTEREST in a V2G solution, because there's ZERO benefit to me feeding the grid here. V2H is all I'm looking for.

Still doesn't make it pedophelia.
A 17 year old, unless they have a serious medical issue, is not pre-pubescent.

Back in like 2007 I DID take a buyout, different company, and I've never regrated the choice.
Now, the job I got stuck at through the downturn was horrible, but such is life.

I've only been on two cruises.
I didn't really see massive differences between Voyager & Odyssey.
Honestly, I think I liked Voyager a little better because of the real promenade deck.
Not sure I'd like the MASSIVE new ships at all, honestly.

I was born in 1978, and have a learning disability that (amongst other things) means my handwriting is horrific.
In fifth grade, when the slow readers had to leave go off by themselves to studder through Johnny Tremain, I was in the same room in a typing class of one.
It was some weird typing program where my speed typing words would make a race car go across the screen, hopefully beating the computer.
Anybody else of my vintage didn't get a chance to learn typing in school until it was offered as an elective in middle school. Where it was taught on IBM electric typewriters, horrible!

Do genders have different red/green flags?
Believing this, like the Mom in the video, is a HUGE red flag.
RupeThereItIs
You know what comes after voluntary separation? Layoffs.
Depends if they hit their targets or not.
RupeThereItIs
A quarter get the offer, which is very different than a quarter leaving.
Depends on the offer & the job market, I was at Ford when 25% of us 'got the offer' before the 2008 crash. My area at least, "over achieved" and they had to start hiring again.
But, yeah, in this job market... good luck hitting 25% acceptance.

Not viable in the world of WFH.

Some professors go back to requiring work in class or pen and paper assignments.
As someone with a learning disability in writing, like hand writing things is physically painful for me, this would be my personal hell.
In the late 80s/early 90s I was already turning in type written homework, because I just couldn't do it by hand.
RupeThereItIs
Same experience but like first grade.
RupeThereItIs
Right?
It was never 'inappropriate' there's nothing to apologize for.
The core of OPs question seems to be based on shame & an idea that physical attraction is something one would ever need to apologize for in the first place.
There is a weird societal idea that ALL forms of male sexuality are somehow evil & shamefull, and I think that's where this comes from.
I worked in a hardware store in high school & when home from college.
EVERY Saturday or Sunday, there was at least one guy who kept coming back & going to the plumbing isle.
He'd be angrier & wetter as the day went on, if he came back enough times he'd have changed clothes.
