Exactly. People will do anything to blame and vilify a woman for the crimes done by a male.

S3lad0n

Only because Meghan’s dad didn’t have the same opportunity and wealth. A nonce is a nonce, the rich ones just have easier access and get away with it more.

S3lad0n

Everyday people have swallowed that spoonfed bullshit as well.

E.g. my dad’s first reaction to all this news was to rant about Meghan and her family being in the press again, and how annoying & distasteful he finds it. Not shock and horror at the discovery of a prolific nonce, and sympathy for the victims.

The issue is predominately boys (make children, whatever, before someone starts). It almost always is. Colour and race aren’t as highly relevant metrics as that.

S3lad0n

Saes?

I laughed tbh. My English mother has described all sorts of abusive sordid goings-on from her 1970s boarding school days.

S3lad0n

Yes, boys. Who become men who rape.

Girls need single-sex education options across the board. In fact some of them in really bad home situations as well would benefit from subsidised boarding school—not that abuses don’t go on there, too, but it’s definitely not so much in female-only environments.

S3lad0n

I used to do my classmates’ homework to get out of playing that. Turns out I was autistic and asexual the whole time, but girls in the 1990s weren’t allowed to have that let alone get support, so I was just bullied instead.

S3lad0n

The guy above is just trying to blame mothers in a roundabout way.

So tired of this misogyny, and I’m not even a mother myself.

S3lad0n

Somehow I’ve always quietly known Emmerdale is propaganda.

Or perhaps not, given characters do seem to get murdered in that programme monthly.

S3lad0n

Adult men should be sorting out each other’s antisocial bad behaviour, but they don’t. Which is why it’s left to kids & women, who get abuse for it.

S3lad0n

chwerthin

Many Indian nationals can speak English. Some rather well.

S3lad0n

What about something like hair scissors, or a really sharp nail file?

S3lad0n

Article says Joanna directly told police weeks beforehand that she was in danger and needed help, even showing them proof, and they did nothing.

We’re on our own out here, ladies.

S3lad0n

Read the room. Not the time or place to start in with this.

A woman has brutally and unfairly lost her sister and a mother has likewise lost her daughter. Let women grieve, commiserate and be angry without injecting your voice unsolicited.

S3lad0n

Sister should legally be allowed to kill or torture him. Speaking as a woman myself who has younger sisters.

S3lad0n

Being Welsh myself, this is sad to read. The state of the ambulance service.

That said, there’s not enough transparent conversation about how abusive and dangerous and violent the elderly can sometimes be, especially men. Carers Iike this poor women who are actually conscientious and good at their work have to take their life in their hands daily.

Though 60s isn’t that old. I wonder what his motive was, if it was anything other than plain old misogyny and creepy fixation?

S3lad0n

Single sex education for girls & women NOW.

Such a good comment, if I had an award I'd give it!

The last sentence really hits home with me, as I'm autistic, and I've constantly hit the barrier in ND circles of everyone else bemoaning how women don't suffer as much from the syndrome, get more help, are overdiagnosed or 'faking'. Never mind that until recent decades, it wasn't even considered that females *could* have autism.

S3lad0n

I'm getting a lot of Reddit replies lately from men to the effect of, 'we hear you, things are tough for women. But realise men have it bad too, and fighting solves nothing. This is a wealth class struggle primarily. We all have to be 'humanist' and work together...'

And all I can do is laugh and x out of browser. What a joke. As if taking out a few billionaires or implementing UBI will suddenly stop all misogynistic abuse.

Show me a country or even one city on Earth where men are forced to cover their entire bodies, stay indoors and only leave with a chaperone, can't access basic healthcare or birth control, aren't allowed to attend school or work or even read, can be stoned to death for the slightest infraction, etc.

S3lad0n

"Let men cry" is the one that gets my ribs. When like...I am? Who's stopping them? Idgaf I think men should cry and be sad and experience suffering more. I just won't be babying and comforting them when they do.

S3lad0n

Ugh, I forgot about being a pillow-girl.

No, I do not want to grade Tommy's spelling and walk him through the homework and then calm down his hyper tantrum--isn't all that your paid adult job, Teacher?

S3lad0n

Well said. I am mid-30s, and was online in forums & chatrooms a lot from a young preteen age, because I was a weird bullied autistic girl and couldn't make friends the normal way. I also had a phone (Nokia brick!) at like 10-11 years old.

S3lad0n

Yes, so many of them are dusty and dependent as well as pornsick. They literally seek a Mommy McBangmaid, just like their grandfathers did.

S3lad0n

Have you ever been raped? I think we all know the answer, don't we.
